As Expected of Vegeta
Four fighters stand behind 18, as Vegeta emerges from a cliff. 17 looks on, saying the help has suddenly arrived. 17 thinks for a bit, saying he thinks 18 cannot defend herself, asking if he should fight, or 16? 16 smiles when he replies that he will not fight them. 17 looks back, asking if he won't, then why was he made? 16 smiles more, saying to kill Son Goku. 17 walks off, telling the rest of the fighters to fight hard then. Tenshinhan looks back, warning his comrades that 17 is approaching! Trunks shrieks at Vegeta to run away, for what is pride if you're dead!? Vegeta just raised his fist in anger at Trunks, asking his son if he would like another beating, because he is in the way! 18 folded her arms, allowing Vegeta to run if he wishes, because she has no interest in cowards. Vegeta looked back at the deadly beauty, telling her to not make him laugh. He exclaims he will kill both of them now, so what is there need to run? He then faces her with a smile, saying he would rather die, than let Earthlings, Namekians, or Kakarrot's help! Trunks could only ponder why his father is so stupid in silence, while 17 clapped his hands for Vegeta. He compliments on the nice speech, since he has good fighting style, so he is a good Saiyan prince!

Vegeta spit some blood to the ground, saying that these pieces of trash have no right to say that, especially that one brat! 17 assumes that Vegeta has the good spirit of a fighter, but it doesn't matter now, becuase if anyone tries to help Vegeta, he, 17, will fight. Piccolo and Krillin stood firm, while Vegeta reacted at the statement by saying those peaceful fighters are cowards, so he, 17, does not need to warn them! 18 then asks if he's ready to continue, making Vegeta say of course! 18 then rushed for Vegeta in a blurring light, saying let's do it! She punched Vegeta to the left, following closely behind. Vegeta stopped himself against the cliff side, pushing himself back to the android. They then both brought punches and kicks to each one another, until Vegeta hit 18 away with a double-fisted slam to the head. She slammed into the wall, with Vegeta's palm out to blast her away with chi if need be. He saw some movement down below, so let loose a large blast, exploding the whole mountain side. Vegeta examined his mess, then flew down, where a messed up and tattered 18 stared at her opponent. Vegeta landed next to 18, telling her that she has really pissed him off now, being all calm. 18 takes off her jacket, saying she's surprised at his strength, despite him being an alien. She asks if Son Goku is stronger, making Vegeta say that's stupid, but for a while he was, but now things are normal.

18 flipped back her hair, saying he's not strong, then that makes Vegeta not strong either. Vegeta grew enraged, asking what did she say!? He tried to kick her face, but she blocked quickly, making them both exchange attacks once again. Watching, Tenshinhan told Vegeta to do it and finish her off! 17 looked back, while Trunks pondered at his father's strength, doubting a while ago he could even match up to the androids! Piccolo then blurted out that Vegeta will be killed. This makes everyone confused, making Piccolo explain that the android has the advantage, because she loses no power. But Vegeta loses strength with every punch as he continues the fight. Vegeta tried to elbow 18, but she blocked once again, kicking Vegeta's ankle. This makes Vegeta fly back onto all fours, making 18 have to upper cut his nose to make him get back on his feet. Trunks curses as he watches, then watches in horror as 18 kicks Vegeta's right arm, breaking and and twisting it around. Vegeta held onto his dislocated limb, making Trunks really scared. Trunks then turned Super Saiyan and flew to the ground in rage, holding onto his sword, ready to take it out of its sheath.
