Summary:
Bitterness Over the Full Moon
The announcer asks for contestants, Jackie Chun and Man Wolf to come out. He
gives information that Jackie Chun was last time's previous winner, while Man
Wolf is a wolf that transforms into a man at the full moon. Man Wolf cracks his
knuckles, telling him that he is going to tear him to pieces now. Jackie Chun
asks if they know each other, while Man Wolf explains that at the last
tournament, he blew up the moon, creating a horrible nightmare for him to never
turn into a man, so he can't get girls! Jackie Chun tries to appease to him,
saying that he should just find some Woman Wolf. Man Wolf runs up to him, saying
that he hates fur! Jackie is sorry for asking, while the announcer asks if they
can start the fight yet? The announcer then yells out for the second fight to
begin! Man Wolf then leaps to Jackie, swiping him once and then twice, with
Jackie dodging each. Jackie then jumps in the air, hitting Man Wolf over the
head. Man Wolf falls down, cursing Jackie. Jackie suggests a forfeit to him,
saying that they are obviously not on the same level. Man Wolf yells at him,
saying that he has a thirtieth degree black belt and will not give up! Jackie
shrugs it off, while Tenshinhan and Chaozu, both floating in the air now,
observe the fight. He tells Chaozu that he will have to fight this old fart, so
he will have to stay on guard. However, it is nothing that he can't handle, but
this is still very exciting to him.
Krillin and Goku, both hanging on to the wall to see, look over to see
Tenshinhan and Chaozu floating in the air. Goku tells Krillin that that's a good
trick, while Krillin tells him that this may cause a problem, since they won't
fall out of the ring. Man Wolf wipes the blood off his face, telling Jackie that
he will tear him limb from limb now! He starts charging at him, while Jackie is
out looking for girls to spy. But, just as Man Wolf closes in, Jackie back flips
over him, kicking him upside the head again. Man Wolf sees Jackie again, still
looking for women. Man Wolf goes into another mad rage, trying to hit Jackie
with any hit possible. Jackie finally sees an opening and kicks Man Wolf across
the chest, making him hit the wall. Jackie tells the announcer to begin
counting, which he agrees to. People in the audience ask how did Jackie do that,
while Turtle says that he acts a whole lot like Kamesennin. Oolong can't quite
understand, but as the count of seven comes, Man Wolf gets up, making the
announcer say that the fight is still going. Jackie asks if he coming back for
more, making Man Wolf pull out a pocket knife. The announcer screams out, saying
that he can't do that, since no weapons are allowed. He is now disqualified!
Man Wolf doesn't care, saying he only wants Jackie dead! Jackie looks at the
announcer, saying that he shouldn't be disqualified over such a small nuisance.
Man Wolf goes in for the strike, but Jackie grabs it just in time. Jackie tells
him to not hold such a grudge and picks Man Wolf up, while Man Wolf is still
holding onto the knife. Jackie then throws Man Wolf off, into a wall. Jackie
then throws the knife at Man Wolf, barely hitting his head. Jackie surprised
everyone then, by saying he would help him turn into a human. Man Wolf asks how
will he be able to do that, since there is no moon. Jackie tells him that it's
an easy task, making Man Wolf ask how? Jackie doesn't want to give away the
secret, making Man Wolf run up to him, asking how can he do that if he won't
tell. Jackie reveals to him that he can do it, but he needs to do some tests. He
then asks for his paw, which Man Wolf gives. Man Wolf screams at Jackie, saying
that he is no dog! Jackie says he sorry, but then asks for him to beg. Man Wolf
begins to do so, but then realizes his mistake. He growls at Jackie, telling him
to stop doing that! Jackie tells him he understands, while Man Wolf asks for him
to just hurry up and turn him into a human. Jackie tells him to do one more
test. He pulls out a bone, throwing it out of the ring, asking for Man Wolf to
fetch. Man Wolf instinctively goes after it, hopping right out of the ring. Man
Wolf sees his mistake and looks at the announcer, seeing how stupid he is.
The announcer yells that it's a ring out and Jackie Chun is the winner! Man Wolf
climbs back into the ring, saying he isn't done yet! Man Wolf charges Jackie,
making Jackie say to just hold on a minute. Jackie puts two fingers in front of
Man Wolf, paralyzing him. Man Wolf asks what he did to him, making Jackie say
that he needs him to stand still so he can perform the ritual. Krillin is very
skeptical, asking how can he turn Man Wolf into a human with no moon? Jackie
then asks for Krillin to come down, making him do so, while asking what he
needs? Jackie tells him to stand in front of him. He positions his back to Man
Wolf, wile Jackie tells Man Wolf to stare at his head now. Krillin asks him if
he's going to substitute his head for the moon, in a very deeply depressed
voice, while Jackie tells him that's the plan. Krillin tells him that it won't
work, allowing Jackie to say that he is just going to hypnotize him. Jackie then
waves his hands in front of Man Wolf, telling him to pay attention greatly. He
waves his hands more and more, until waving them over Krillin's head, saying to
visualize the moon.
Man Wolf sees it, where there is a night sky and a moon that is connected to a
young fighter's body. Man Wolf then transforms into an ugly man, making him look
at his hands, saying that he's human! He starts ramping and yelling, while
Jackie tells him that he was happy to help. Man Wolf (Wolf Man?) thanks Jackie
one last time, saying that he's going to find girls now. He runs off, happy as
ever, while Jackie tells Krillin that he should have stayed as wolf. Krillin
agrees, saying that no woman would want him. The announcer then yells out that
the third fight will begin shortly and it's all thanks to the baldness of
Krillin, making his head look like a moon! This depresses Krillin once more, but
we'll just guess he'll gets over it.
