Korosu and Bardock gleefully
gaze out of the window of their ship, taking in the atmosphere of this rare
occurrence. It is not often that anybody gets to travel through space, and the
two Saiyans know this. Korosu snaps out of his day dream, and realizes that
there is training to be done. Being strong is the most important thing in the
world to a Saiyan, and it is not an easy feat to achieve. Many have tried, and
failed to become powerful, but Korosu and Bardock seem to have a certain
promise about them, which overwhelm most other species, and even members of
their own race.
Korosu walks over to the
graviton, and turns the dial so it is at 50 times the gravity on the planet
Saiya, or at least, 50 times of what it would have been, had the planet not
blown up. The two Saiyans are vaguely aware of this, but presumed that the
explosion was something happening on the planet, as the news that the
remainder of their race being destroyed would have devastated them, but as
things stand, they do not know, nor shall they be informed of the news for a
while.
Bardock hits the floor,
holding his bleeding nose, and shouting offensive words at Korosu, for not
telling him that the gravity was being changed. His fellow Saiyan merely
laughs at this, and starts to attempt to get used to the high gravity level.
The look of excruciating pain on Korosu’s face signals that he is having a
hard time staying on his feet, and the sweat pouring from his face adds to the
obviousness of it. Bardock crawls over to the nearest ledge, and strains to
pull himself up on it, squinting, and panting as he slowly gets onto his feet.
Once he has managed the task, Bardock pushes off the ships wall, and into the
middle of the room. He struggles to keep his balance, and stay on his feet,
rather like someone new to roller-skating would. He turns to Korosu, who is
struggling equally as much, and starts to stride slowly over to him, to pay
back the damage done to his nose.

Zarbon arrives outside the
door of a quaint house, stranded in the middle of isolated countryside. Small
bursts of polluting smoke spew forth from the metal chimney, and fades away
into the cold, harsh air that is about the place. A
deathly breeze blows as Zarbon lands, throwing his braid of hair all
about the place, and making his cloak fly up. He breaths in the air calmly,
reminiscent of his landing. Soon Zarbon will be king, he just has to rid
himself of these weak peasants.
The changeling walks up to
the front door of the house, and considers how to make his entrance. First he
thinks about knocking politely, but quickly scraps that idea in favour of
kicking it down, for that would be far more stylish, and would make him seem
as if he had far more flare. Zarbon measures up the door carefully, and then
puts such force in his kick that the door flies to the other side of the room,
denting the wall badly. It seems to have annoyed the residents too, as one
comes up to him, and begins to shout with all her might. Yes, it was a female,
a lesser member of the species in Zarbon’s opinion. Why did they bother with
them? The only use is to give birth, so why do they get equal rights? He
neither understood, nor cared about the whole system. The female beats at his
chest with rage, managing to hurt him quite badly, considering her
comparatively low power level. Zarbon becomes bored with her antics though,
and simply swats her away with the back of his hand, sending her crashing into
a wall, making a shape similar to her body outline there. She looks at him,
hate swelling in her eyes, but is unable to do anything.
Someone has heard all the
commotion, and quickly comes to the females aid. Zarbon takes the scouter
reading. This is the guy. The strongest person on a planet rumoured to contain
some fantastic warriors, yet the power level that the scouter reads is a mere
5,000. Zarbon looks at him in a confused way, and the man shares that stare,
then steps forward.
“Who are you? What right do
you have to come in here, hurt my wife, and destroy my house? I’m going to
make you pay dearly for this asshole!”
“Is that meant to
intimidate me weakling?” Zarbon chuckled. He knew that he was far superior
in power to this lesser form of life, and he could never be beaten by such a
weak excuse for a warrior. The man doesn’t back down though, he stands
ready, his fists clenched, and his eyes glaring with a hatred seen very
rarely.
“Let’s settle this
outside.” The man calmly said to Zarbon, making the changeling almost cough
up his intestines with laughter, until he realized the fact that the man was
serious. Zarbon looks at him in a confused way, but ends up shrugging his
shoulders, and walking outside with a very exquisite stride. He stops just at
the entrance of the house, and lets the man walk out.
“Might I have the pleasure
of knowing who it is that I am about to crush?” Zarbon asked mockingly.
“I am Son Goku, Saiyan
Warrior” The man replied angrily. Zarbon has a genuine look of fear on his
face at this, not knowing how a Saiyan could come to be on Earth, or how he
could be compassionate or have feelings for that matter. He dismisses all
worry though, and takes Goku’s power level again, just to be sure. It soars
up at an amazing speed as Goku begins to charge up, making his long black hair
stick up even more than usual, and his red fighting robe begin to rip to
shreads. Zarbon can’t believe the power of the Saiyan, as his scouter gives
off a miniscule explosion, ceasing to work any longer. He backs off slightly,
overcome with fear, but manages to regain his calm before his vision is
clouded with terror. He gets himself into a fighting stance, and powers up
himself, managing to do so very quickly, then clenches his fists, preparing to
fight.
“Let’s do this,
monkey!” Zarbon shouts at his opponent with hatred and resentment.

The aftermath of the
explosion of the Planet Saiya has come, and Frieza’s men have discovered no
survivors. The man himself waits in his chamber, delicately sipping a small
glass of red wine, and gazing out of a huge window at the shattered remains of
a once thriving planet. He has a look of aggravation on his face, and is
frowning intently. One of his soldiers burst through the door, and begin to
hassle him, trying to get him to listen. Frieza turns around, looking very
annoyed, and talking in a harsh, evil voice, full of antagonistic loathing.
“What is it soldier? Speak
now or die!”
“Master Frieza sir, I have
been informed by the salvage crew that there was a ship flying away from the
planet seconds before the explosion. I recommend that we pursue it.”
“You really think that I
would take orders from such a benevolent, repulsive creature such as yourself?
Leave my quarters before I kill you!” The soldier scrambles away,
whimpering, and hoping that his life would be spared. “Ha, the fool, he is
lucky that he caught me in a good mood! I knew that something had escaped
though, I could sense it. I’ll have to follow this ship, because Saiyans can
become quite powerful if left unattended for too long…
