Dragonball Z Episode 185: Real Power Blowup. Exploding Cell Juniors

(original, Japanese episode)

Gohan screams in anger as he powers up. All the Z warriors are surprised at the dramatic increase in power, but Cell is unimpressed. The Cell Juniors go on the attack again. Gohan’s anger explodes and he morphs into Super Saiya-jin 2! His change causes the TV station to lose its signal, causing Chi-Chi to pass out once again. Gohan stands before Cell at full power. Cell is excited to see the boy fully charged. He clutches the Senzu beans in his left hand, but with a quick snatch, Gohan takes them. Cell didn’t even see Gohan move. He lunges for them but Gohan moves away and reappears in front of a Cell Jr. The Cell Jr. attacks, but Gohan dodges and elbows the monster, causing it to explode! Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo are in shock as Goku laughs in delight. Gohan sees Krillin out on the ground with two Cell Juniors standing over him. One of them grabs Krillin and threatens to stab him in the neck with his nails. Krillin tells Gohan to finish them both off and kill him. The Cell Jr. throws Krillin aside and shoots an energy blast at Gohan. Somehow, Gohan has not only dodged the attack, but grabbed Krillin as well and gets him to safety. Gohan returns and kicks the Cell Jr. in the stomach, and he explodes.

Chi-Chi comes to again and sees the TV is blank. She questions her father about what happened and he tells her he doesn’t know. Chi-Chi starts complaining about Goku having her son out on the battlefield and becomes hysterical. Ox King finally tells Chi-Chi off, saying Goku and Gohan are saving the earth, and Gohan is their only hope and she needs to accept that. Chi-Chi of course won’t accept this and throws the TV across the room. She says now Gohan will never get into a good university and literally throws Ox King out of the house.

Cell orders the rest of the Cell Juniors to attack Gohan but they don’t stand a chance. All five attack at once, and Gohan easily kills one with a swift kick to the sternum. The remaining four attack again, but are easily handled by Gohan in a few quick punches. The Cell Juniors regroup and use some of the Z warriors’ attacks on Gohan, like Krillin’s disk, Tienshinhan’s blast, Yamcha’s blast, and Piccolo’s drill. Gohan has no trouble defending his self and sends off blasts of his own. As the monsters scatter, Gohan gets behind one of them and punches it in the back, ripping it in half before exploding. He kicks another and it explodes. He finally dismantles the remaining, much to Cell’s displeasure. Piccolo tells Goku that Gohan is no longer hesitating and his anger is overriding his reasoning, making him the strongest fighter ever! Gohan gives the Senzu beans to Trunks to distribute to the Z warriors. The battle between Cell and Gohan is about to start once again.
