Summary:

A Matter of Pride
Ginyu saw an opening when Goku looked up at Vegeta, and took it right away, hitting Goku right on the cheek with his elbow. Goku flew across the plain; Ginyu chasing after, until Goku did several flips and gained control. Ginyu stopped above Goku, trying to hit him with his hand, but missed when Goku ducked, Goku tried to kick Ginyu above, but missed too, when Ginyu moved his head, so they both started to go into an all out punch and kick free-for-all. They then jumped away, landing at the exact same time, starting each other down like a showdown. Goku rubbed his cheek from the first attack, saying Vegeta’s a jerk. Ginyu smiled a bit, saying he’s better then he though, but without Vegeta, he’s totally hopeless! Goku had a very small bit of blood on his face, saying that Vegeta is going to go off and try to get the Dragon Balls for himself, the creep. Goku said that he will just settle this quickly and go after Vegeta then. Vegeta was defiantly speeding off, saying that this was easy, that Goku and Ginyu’s power are estimated to be the same, so if it goes well for him, they’ll just beat each other up! Vegeta then said that after he finds those brats and they get the balls, he’ll just finish them off and then he will become immortal and take on Freeza!

Goku got himself ready to fight, telling Ginyu he’s sorry, but he’ll have to finish this fight quickly now, even after he, Ginyu, just showed up. Ginyu laughed loudly, saying that’s the first anyone’s told him that! Ginyu smiled as he told he’ll regret beating confidence out of him, Goku, but he too can raise his battle power! Goku got a little worried, as Jiisu said the captain is so cool! He then said of course he is, because even if this guy’s power is 60,000, the captain’s power is much more higher! Ginyu then stretched his hand out, and made an aura go around him, scaring Goku to saying no! Ginyu shot out a blast, which Goku avoided with great skill, and watched behind him the entire landscape be leveled. Ginyu laughed aloud as he saw dirt fly all around him, while Goku came above his foe. Goku tried to do a good kick into Ginyu’s head, but Ginyu was able to dodge and still look up. Ginyu tried his luck at trying to swipe Goku, but Goku vanished and appeared in front of Ginyu, doing a kick, which Ginyu blocked with his elbow. They then went into a frenzy of attacks again, until Ginyu speed off into the air, Goku chasing and they both having a strong aura. Goku then speed up, going right past Ginyu, and making Ginyu say he’s fast, faster than him, Ginyu! Goku then saw a huge blast come at him, dodging it just barely, and Ginyu coming out of nowhere to put Goku into a lock where Ginyu’s arms went under Goku’s armpits and he made it where Goku couldn’t move.

Jiisu laughed loudly with his hand stuck out, yelling he stopped him! Goku said this isn’t good, trying to break out, with Jiisu yelling at Ginyu that he’s theirs and wants to finish him off now! Ginyu did not look happy, while Goku formed a plan that this was too much strength and he’ll have to use the Kaiouken! Just then, Ginyu let him go, making Goku look back to asking what? Jiisu yelled out for the captain with horror, making Ginyu interrupt to say he never asked for help, and if he does interfere again, he will kill! Jiisu stood silent, when Ginyu looked back at Goku, saying as for this guy. Ginyu asked Goku what did he want to do, to try and hide his true power? He asked when he would really show it, right in front of Master Freeza? He yelled that he will get nowhere then if he is underestimated, so just get on with it now. He then ended that it’s just time to cut the crap and fight! Goku said that’s okay; he can show his true power. Ginyu said that’s much better, so now this guy can die in peace knowing he gave his all! Goku told Ginyu to look at that thing and watch his power go. Ginyu told he doesn’t need a scouter, because he’s estimated that this guy’s strength is at 85,000. Goku then softly said Kaiouken, then screaming loudly with a huge aura around his body, powering up to levels Goku never dreamed of going. Ginyu happily watched his scouter go, then said it’s at 90,000… then 100,000… now 110,000! Ginyu said that this is very impossible, because it’s still going up!
