Win! Goku

After being born from his father, Piccolo has always had an urge to kill Goku. After much training, he met Goku at the Tenkaichi Budoukai. However, Goku did training as well, making them both an almost even match for each other. In the end, Goku finally won, and allowed Piccolo to live, so Kami Sama may live too.

Stubbornness of the Evil Family

Five years after the incident with Piccolo, a Saiyan comes and meets Piccolo. Learning of his power, Piccolo teams up with Goku to beat him. After much fighting and the sacrifice of Goku, the Saiyan dies but gives a revelation of two more Saiyan coming. Piccolo aw Gohan's power rise higher than his that day and decided to train the boy, so he may have another ally to defend the earth against.

He Should Protect the Boy

The Saiyans of the future are coming. To prepare, everyone needed to get stronger. Feeling upon himself, Piccolo took Gohan under his wing to prepare Gohan for the Saiyans to come. The Dragon Balls were the Saiyans goal, but after Piccolo sacrificed himself to save Gohan and die, Gohan would have to go to Namek to get new Dragon Balls. There, Gohan wished Piccolo back and he got new power on Namek as well.

Super Namekian!? Perfect Piccolo

The power of the Androids proved to be much greater than originally expected. To gain more power, Piccolo offers to Kami that they should re-join once again. Kami refuses at first, but senses an evil he has felt for years now, and agrees to go under the transformation. Piccolo gains an incredible boost of power ad goes down to fight Cell and the Androids. While fighting Cell, he also learns that he is incomplete and requires the Androids to become fully complete, making Piccolo aware to stop him at all costs.

Series of Surprises!

Much later on, Piccolo feels something deep within him. He believes that it is Kami Sama trying to tell him that Kaioushin is here. After realizing he is who he is and is on earth, Piccolo confronts him and asks why is he here. He explains that Majin Buu is here and will destroy the earth unless stopped. Everyone teams up to fight Buu and when Goku comes back from his fight, he teaches everyone Fusion. Piccolo promises to teach Goten and Trunks the Fusion technique after Goku has gone.
