Dragonball Z Episode 15: Escape From Piccolo! Gohan and the Storm

Gohan is camping out in a cave dreaming about his mother and father, while Piccolo stands on a cliff envisioning the battle he just had with Raditz. He is still in shock about the fact that Raditz was able to dodge his strongest attack. Piccolo goes into a rage and then splits into two Piccolos. He begins to fight an exact copy of himself as his own training intensifies.

The next morning, Gohan decides it is time to go home and see his mother. He builds himself a makeshift sailboat and cruises along the sand dunes. A huge bird chases him across the desert, causing Gohan to wreck and ruin his boat. He ends up on the beach and gazes across the ocean. His saber tooth tiger friend was resting on the beach, but after Gohan falls asleep, the tiger watches over him. In the meantime, Piccolo continues to train with his other self, and after a small battle, the two merge back together. Ox King is shown briefly talking to Chi-Chi, who refuses to eat. She is still deeply depressed over the disappearance of her son and husband. Gohan seems to not have a care in the world. He runs to the top of a mountain and realizes he is on an island. He knocks down a tree with a single punch, a la Goku, and builds a boat with the help of the tiger. After hours of work, he finishes his boat and leaves a very sad tiger behind as he sets sail across the ocean. Piccolo discovers Gohan is on the run and sets off to find the boy. Gohan awakens in the night to find he is caught in a storm and must work hard to keep his boat from sinking. Piccolo searches over the ocean but has trouble locating the boy. Eight months until the Saiya-jins arrive. Will the Z fighters be ready?
