Dragonball Z Episode
125: Seized With Fear
This episode commences with the gang traveling
in a small ship, taking the pain-stricken Goku to Roshi's house to
hide him from the Androids until he recovers from his heart virus. As
they continue to drive onwards, Krillen decides to ring up Bulma for a
discussion on the current situation of affairs, only to find out that
a time machine has been discovered. At first the midget launches
enquires into whether it might be Trunks, but when the boy from the
future reveals that he has it capsulized in his hand, they realize it
must be a different one. Intrigued by this, Gohan and Trunks go off to
investigate, and Bulma says that she'll meet them there.
After a short flight, Gohan and Trunks
arrive at the site where the time machine was allegedly spotted, and
frantically look around for it. Gohan is the one who discovers the
location, and notes that it is covered in moss, barely recognizable.
Bulma lands and checks it out for herself after asking Trunks some
incredibly embarrassing questions about whether or not he thinks his
mom is good looking.
Trunks carefully and extensively
examines the time machine, resulting in him finding out that it is an
exact replica of the one that he came in. He throws the capsule down
next to the newly found time machine, to reveal the one that he rode.
They really are exactly the same, even down to the smallest detail,
including the word 'Hope' that was written on by his mother just
before he left.
Inside the time machine is a huge hole,
with scratches seemingly made by claws, and melted edges. Trunks opens
up the top half, and peeks inside, noticing a small semi-circle
object, then soon after spotting another one. Gohan thinks that
they're turtle shells, but Bulma has a theory on them being two parts
of an egg. Whatever they are, Trunks knows that they belonged to some
sort of a creature who time traveled from a separate time line, and
that must have been the thing that changed time so much.
Looking at the controls, Trunks keys in
a few things, and reveals that the machine has been here for four
years, much to everyone's disbelief. He then hops out of it, and puts
it inside a capsule, then does the same to his original one, and puts
them both away.
All three of them investigate the
surrounding area, and eventually find some sort of a shed skin, with a
sort of purple ooze inside, signaling that it has only just come off.
Everyone looks around but to no avail, whatever came out of that egg
has already escaped off to somewhere.
Up in heaven, Piccolo is pressuring
Kami to hurry up and go through with the fusion, but he still wants to
see how things go first. He does mention that he has felt a strange
evil presence on Earth for the past four years though.
