Chapter Four

"Hello, is there any one here?" yelled Vegeta. He had been dead for only a few days, but he couldn't complain. No real pain, plenty of friends to make, and a neat looking halo, which he had become quite fond of. "Who's there?" asked an odd voice from out of the shadows of snake way. "My name is Vegeta Briefs Jr; son of the great Saiyan prince. I was sent by a man named Goku Sr. to train under The Lord Of Worlds, Kio-Sama. Are you he?" "Oh, I know all about you. Goku told me about your trek to see me." said the lord of worlds. "That's right, and I would like to become your disciple." "Well, if you feel that strongly about it, then...-Make me laugh!" yelled King Kai. "Huh?! What did you say?" "I won't train those without a sense of humor, so I won't train you until you make me laugh!" "This better be good." said the disgruntled saiyan. He remembered what grandma Pan had told him of King Kai, that all his disciples told him a joke to allow him to train them. But, he had a better idea, physical humor. He looked around for a second, and suddenly picked up a nearby monkey, and threw it at the nearest tree with all his might. It slammed into the tree and knocked a small cricket out onto the ground. He looked at King Kai with desperation, waiting for him to crack up, but it never came. Holding back his own laughter, he asked "You didn't find that remotely funny?!" "No. I understand you thought it would work because it was new to me, but you just hurt both of my best friends. You've angered me more than you have amused me, and I feel like not training you at all." answered King Kai. "But, wait! That's not fair at auuuuuuaaaaaaaagggghhh!!!!!!!!" King Kai turned around to see that bubbles and Gregory had both ganged up and began kicking the living crap out of Vegeta. The King immediately burst into laughter. The two creatures stopped and walked up to King Kai slowly with Vegeta. "I made you laugh. I can now train with you." "No, Bubbles made me laugh, you didn't." Vegeta pulled out two bucks, and gave one to each of the animals, and showed them off. "They were working for me." said Vegeta. "Uh, well than, on with your training!" replied a very embrace King Kai, realizing that this kid was far smarter than he looked.

Back at Caps. Corps. Pan, Roshi, Turtle, Gamera©, Dende, and Mr. Popo waved off our new heros, as the ship carrying Goku, Jr. and Ken took off into the air at quite a surprising speed. On the ship, goku patted Jr. on the back "There's something I want you to have." said Goku, as he pulled out his sacred Knyoi-bo, the powerful stick he had used since he was a young boy. "I can have this?" "Of course! It's yours now, so I want you to take very good care of it." said Goku. All of a sudden, he heard an estranged voice calling to him from afar. "Goku, are you there? Goku!" "Yes, King Kai, I'm here. What's up?" "Goku, Vegeta is impeccable! He caught Bubbles and hit Gregory with little effort at all, and he quickly mastered the Kio-Ken attack! So I have sent him to train with Grand Kai." said King Kai. "That's great, King Kai! Thanks for helping me out!" So, the heroes have begun to train under 200 times earth's natural gravity with Goku, but can they get the Dragon Balls in time to save earth and rescue Vegeta as his own training heats up?
