How To Play
Now that you understand the basics, you
can go on to learn the more advanced rules which will further your
enjoyment of the RPG.
As mentioned earlier, there will be
quests which people will occasionally ask you to perform after
monitoring your progress, and thinking that you'd be best suited to
the task. You can either accept or decline these, but they are usually
very hazardous, so you have been warned before you rush into anything.
With every danger comes a reward though, and the ones given to you
from the quests are very worthy, ranging from very rare, valuable
items, to huge amounts of money. Of course your experience increases
greatly if you execute these imaginably and skillfully. I will portray
the person in need of the quest every time, and will give you a set
reward if you complete the task, and base your power level on your
performance.
Sometimes you must undergo a quest in
order to gain a rare item from certain shops, as they are beyond
anything that money can buy.
An important issue to bring up is
Dragonballs, and they will play a big part in the game. The wishes you
may make are limitless, as long as they are within the Dragons power.
You make your wish on the board, and I will reply posing as the
Dragon, saying whether or not it is acceptable.
You may
attempt to collect all these, and it will take you a set time to find
them, with them in a different location every time. If you have a
Dragon radar, then the number of possible areas are greatly decreased,
making finding the Dragonball easier. There will be, in most cases,
something guarding the Dragonball, or some sort of feat to overcome,
making finding them no easy task. If you are killed or defeated by one
of these things then you lose your 'ball. You also lose all the
Dragonballs you possess if you lose a fight with another player unless
they're stored at your house (Which you must buy).
That leads me onto another subject, and
that is that of items. These can either play an important part in the
fight, or an insignificant role depending on your strategy. They can
be found when on quests, given to you for completing quests, or
purchased. The value of these items vary greatly, some beyond the
imagination of anyone's wallet, and some so cheap that even the
poorest pilgrim could buy them.
There is a full section with listings
on the items to buy, and descriptions of what they do elsewhere on the
RPG, so I wont go into too much detail, other than mentioned that they
will help massively in your bid to become the most powerful warrior
alive.
Finally I will describe the trainers,
all available under different circumstance, and all of which are
massive contributors to your power should they train you. They vary
from King Kai to Master Roshi, with some other ones along the lines,
and you must do certain things for them to even consider helping you
out. These will not be stated immediately though, and there may be a
series of tasks to achieve before you get trained. It's worth it
though, as your power will increase more like this than in any other
training, and it's the only way to learn new techniques.
You learn by doing exactly what is
required from you, and you will be given a grade for how well you
executed it, with it being permanent unless you wish to spend a lot
more time working on it. You can get a good grade by writing
interesting accounts and at least failing a few times before you are
successful. The grades range from A* to D-.
Details on the trainers are in the
trainers section.
Well that's just about everything
covered. If there's still things that you are unsure of, please don't
hesitate to contact me and
I will get back to you as soon as possible.
