Summary:

Match No. 1
The announcer comes outside, telling everyone that he welcomes their patience and match no. 1 will begin shortly, which will be a fight between Krillin and Bacterian. The winner of the entire tournament will gain 500,000 zeni, but before they begin, the announcer asks for the monk of the martial arts temple to say a few words. A dog comes up and the announcer gives him a microphone. He says, "Woof!" and leaves, making the announcer thank him heartily. The announcer then yells out to let the games begin and asks for the first two contestants to come out. Goku tells Krillin that he can do it, making Krillin slowly agree. Krillin steps out, with everyone cheering for him. The announcer gives a profile of each fighter, telling everyone that Krillin is the youngest fighter ever to enter the tournament, at the age of thirteen. The other, Bacterian, is strong fighter who has never bathed before. Oolong tells himself that Krillin's the one who trained with Goku, while Bulma looks around for Kamesennin, saying that this is his student's match. A man yells out that a thirteen-year-old shouldn't be here, while Goku tells Krillin once more that he's cheering for him. The announcer gives the rules once more, saying that if one of them falls off the stage, that person loses. Also, if you are knocked down for ten seconds, yell out mercy, you lose. Also, there is no time limit.

Now, let the match begin! The giant cymbal bongs for the match to start, making Krillin cower in fear of his intimidating opponent. Bacterian takes a swipe at Krillin, but he jumps away just in time. Bacterian compliments on the jump, so he'll just have to go faster. He unleashes his stinky breath of Krillin, making him lose his balance. While Krillin does his crazy dance, Bacterian reaches in his fighter's underwear and scratches around. He pulls out his finger and puts it in Krillin's face, making him fall over. Goku yells for him to get up, while the announcer gives a play-by-play summary, saying that Krillin is already down, from Bacterian's breath-crouch combo may be too much. Bacterian goes for the extreme and farts over Krillin while he's down. The announcer yells for everyone to cover his or her noses, since just broke wind! The triple combo may just be too much Krillin for him to get up. Bacterian then begins to kick Krillin, while the announcer yells out that Krillin may lose this match without even trying to hit him. The count now, is at six, going on seven, when Goku yells out that he can't lose to him.

He then gets an idea at the count of eight, telling Krillin that he doesn't have a nose, so he can't smell anything. At nine, Krillin realizes this himself and gets up, angry as a wasp. The announcer yells out that Krillin just made it, while Krillin thanks Goku for his advice. Krillin then gets in a stance, telling him he's ready. Bacterian gets angry, but admits that he knows more than stink-fu and starts to hawk up his spit. The announcer asks himself out loud if Krillin can stand Bacterian's loogies, while Bacterian starts to swish his phlegm in his mouth. Krillin goes on the defense and dodges all the spit that is spat out at him, making his way closer and closer to Bacterian. Krillin kicks him in the head, and while he's down, Krillin goes over and farts on Bacterian's face. Bacterian calls out for mercy, making Krillin the victor! The announcer yells out the winner of match 1, also saying that Bacterian could dish it out, but couldn't take it!
