Chelene

Goku asks King Kai to locate where Cell and Freeza are and they all fly out to confront the two evil villains. Cell and Freeza are in sitting on a rock formation planning a way to go about getting the blood they need to summon the spirit. Both are aware that the warriors will be looking for them, but they didn’t expect it so soon. They look up and see the Z warriors. Vegeta is really anxious to get his hands on Freeza, and attacks him without a word being said. Freeza smirks and goes straight at the mighty prince. The others just watch, they didn’t expect Vegeta to be this aggressive at the start. They clasp hands and try to match power.

Freeza: "Long time no see, prince. I hope you’ve been training hard, or else you still won’t be able to defeat me!!" Vegeta doesn’t say a word, he’s just feeling out exactly how much power he’s going to need to take him out with. He keeps a stern face. Freeza powers up and a hot rush flows through Vegeta. Vegeta is exhilarated from the energy. He powers up and feels his strength go through the roof. Freeza shrieks in pain as Vegeta squeezes harder on his hands. "Let me go you stupid monkey!!"

Vegeta: "Sure I will, would you like to be let go like this?"

Vegeta flies at an unbelievable speed straight to the ground and slams him hard. "Or like this?" He shoots out of the ground and slams him hard into a rock formation. The other warriors look on, not paying attention to Cell. Vegeta is keeping his cool, but he is overjoyed that he can now finally beat the person who not only destroyed his kingdom, but his whole race, especially his father. Finally he lets a screaming Freeza go. "Oh, I know, I’ll let you go like this!" Vegeta flips him over his head and he is tossed far across the way out of sight. Vegeta looks on and flashes a smile as he can hear Freeza crash to the ground. Vegeta jumps into the sky and zips over to get back to beating him up some more. Goku turns to Cell. "I know what you’re up to, Cell. You and Freeza aren’t stronger than us anymore, you should be happy to be back in the dimension of the living and just give up on conquering it."

Cell: "You know I can’t do that. I would rather die than to be happy knowing you’re alive!" Goku: "So be it. You should appreciate living in this dimension now, because you won’t be in it long enough to enjoy it!"

Gohan, Trunks, Goten and Piccolo look out over the horizon and see an impressive light show, no doubt in anyone’s mind that Vegeta is having the time of his life blasting away at Freeza. Goku and Cell prepare to fight. Cell starts to glow and clenches his fists. Fire and energy surround his body. Goku can feel that Cell is a lot stronger than he thought, but nothing compared to even give him a fight. Goku powers up as well, but knows he doesn’t have to go SuperSaiy-jin. Cell flies at Goku and swings a punch, but Goku disappears. Cell looks for him, but can’t find him. Goku re-appears in front of him. "I’m giving you a chance to change your mind, but you’re not leaving me much of a choice." Cell tries to wrap him, but Goku easily disappears again. "Fight me, fool! I’m not one to play with!" Goku appears and they exchange punches. Goku is blocking everything Cell is throwing. Cell is dodging Goku’s punches, but just barely. Cell finally gives up throwing punches and backs up from Goku. He gathers energy and tries to blast Goku, but it’s blocked with one hand by the mighty Saiy-jin. Cell notices Gohan and the others looking at Vegeta beating the crap out of Freeza. He smirks slyly and keeps on blasting at Goku who is easily blocking them all. He doesn’t notice that the smoke is becoming too thick to see through. The smoke eventually surrounds all of the warriors. Cell stops blasting and swiftly swoops at Gohan. He pulls out a needle sticks it into him. Cell then sneaks it quickly into a pouch and puts it away right before Gohan slams him with a backhand. Cell is sent spinning to the ground. Gohan feels the back of his shoulder and can feel a slight tingle. Cell gets to his feet and laughs evilly.

"Okay Goku, you guys may have won this battle, but I can guarantee a victory for the war!!"

Freeza zips through and crashes into where Gohan was standing. He’s at full strength, in his bulky muscular form, but with all the bruises and cuts on his body, it’s obvious that it wasn’t helping him much. Chelene is watching this from afar. She has a notebook in hand as she records the events. She feels bad seeing Freeza being beaten, but she realizes it was wrong for her to think she could change him. She is spotted by Goten. He flies over to her with Trunks. Trunks wonders who this beautiful woman is. "Who I am is of no concern to you."

Trunks: "I was just making sure you weren’t going to get hurt, that’s all."

Chelene: "I’m sorry, I’m not in the best of moods, some really bad things have happened to me today. I know who those two are."

Goten: "How would someone like you know anyone like them?" She went on to tell them, not in detail, of how she knows Freeza and how they came back to this dimension.

Goten and Trunks didn’t realize that the "friend" that helped Cell and Freeza was a beautiful woman! Piccolo flies over as he heard the whole thing from afar. "You didn’t think before you summoned Freeza back. You should have known that you can’t stop someone as evil as him from trying to destroy."

Chelene: "But I was in love." Piccolo folds his arms and looks away: "Hhmph."

Goten looks over at Cell standing with his hands in the air and chanting silently. "What is he doing!!?"

Cell is dropping Gohan’s blood into the ground while Gohan and Goku fly above the smoke to watch Vegeta fighting Freeza. "Dad!! Look at Cell!!" Goten yells out desperately. It was too late, Cell already completed the ancient chant. Goku blasts at Cell, but it was dodged.

The ground starts to rumble. Vegeta, who was standing on top of Freeza punching his head in, looks around to see what the commotion is. Gohan realizes what the tingling in his shoulder was as he looks at the empty syringe roll into a crack in the ground. An incredible earthquake shakes and breaks up the earth. Goku knows that Cell has succeeded in bringing the Dark Spirit of the Earth to life. He is overwhelmed with anger, and powers up.

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!" His eyes turn green and his black hair sparkles into a golden shine. SuperSaiy-jin Goku looks incredibly massive, with every part of his body bulging with muscle. He aims his anger and frustration at Cell. "You may have summoned the Dark Spirit, but you won’t be around long enough to gloat about it!"

SSJGoku raises his hands in the air drawing energy that makes the skies dark with thunder and lightning. It enhances the damage being caused by the arrival by the Dark Spirit. SSJGoku flies at Cell with blinding speed and punches him so hard in the face that it sends a boom heard clear across the land, and Cell crashes into the dirt. SSJGoku doesn’t stop, as he slams multiple fists into Cell’s ribs to the point of blood starting to flow out of his mouth and nose. Vegeta is in awe as the Dark Spirit rises up from the inside of the Earth. "Oh my god...what is that?"

The Spirit is like nothing anyone has ever seen. Piccolo is in complete shock. Trunks and Goten don’t know what to say. Gohan hopes his father’s rage doesn’t make him go into a head-on battle with the demon. He wisely powers up to SuperSaiy-jin2. Gohan looks at the beast and realizes what its existence means: that he is the strongest warrior on Earth.

Stronger than Piccolo, stronger than Vegeta, and even stronger than his father. The beast is incredible. He stands about 60 feet tall, taller than an Oozaru, with dark red scaly skin. His eyes are bright yellow, with green pupils. His mouth is open, so it shows his large teeth with huge fangs on the sides. The monster has massive muscular arms complete with sharp claws at the hands. He has a tail that is very similar to that of a scorpion. The tail curls up high over his head, and its large, samurai-sharp stingers are displayed for all to see. A small, golden colored gem is placed in the center of his forehead. Vegeta can feel the Spirit’s power and immediately powers up, holding nothing back. He realizes too that Gohan’s blood is what caused the appearance of this creature, but his pride still makes him feel that he is the greatest warrior in the universe. SuperSaiy-jin2 Vegeta quickly flies over to SSJ2Gohan. SSJGoku doesn’t realize what’s going on yet, as he is in a complete rage, slamming Cell into rocks and into the ground repeatedly. The Dark Spirit says in a deep voice, "Master," and raises his claw high in the air and swings it down hard into SSJGoku’s back. He crashes into a rock formation that completely shatters. SSJGoku looks up and sees what just hit him. He can’t believe the size and power of the Spirit. SSJ2Vegeta and SSJ2Gohan react quickly and fly at the monster. They blast him with energy repeatedly, but it barely has an effect on him. The Spirit shrieks in anger as he swats away at the SuperSaiy-jin warriors. Piccolo, Goten and Trunks watch on with Chelene carefully writing down all that she sees. She pauses for a moment and looks at Freeza. He’s

unconscious from the beating that Vegeta gave him, and she’s worried that he will be hurt even further. Goten notices this and says to her, "You look worried."

Chelene: "I don’t want him to get hurt." She fights back a tear from falling. Goten looks stern for a moment, and then flies toward Freeza.

Piccolo: "Where are you going? Don’t save his life! Forget about him!"

But Goten has a heart like his father Goku. He lifts up the fallen villain and takes him to her, out of harms way. She thanks Goten with a small kiss on the cheek that makes his face turn red. Piccolo doesn’t like what just happened at all. Trunks sees Goku zoom out of the rubble and begin to power up. "Hey check out your dad." Goten grins as he knows what his father is going to do. Goku places both hands out to his sides and slowly brings them to his center, gathering energy as he does. The energy builds into a small dense ball, he lifts it up in the air. The ball explodes above him, making a light that blinds everyone except the Spirit. When the explosion stops, there stands SuperSaiy-jin3 Goku, the most glorious warrior the universe has ever seen. Golden hair flowing in the wind longer than his own body. His eyebrows have disappeared, and the muscle mass is even more impressive than when he was at the first SuperSaiy-jin level. SSJ3Goku flies straight at the Spirit and slams a thunderous fist into its chest. Cell is shocked as he sees the huge body of the Spirit crash to the ground. The warriors don’t know how to react, but Goten just exclaims joyfully.

"That’s my dad!"

Vegeta doesn’t like that "Kakkarot" is so much stronger than he, but knows that he has earned everything he deserves. He quickly capitalizes and flies at the monster as he is getting to his feet.

Vegeta: "Let’s see you handle this!"

He places both hands together and slams an energy blast straight into the face of the beast. The Spirit falls again to its backside, but recovers quickly and jumps to his feet. He snatches Vegeta in thin air and is about to sting him with his tail until SSJ3Goku jumps at the tail and holds it just a few feet from Vegeta. He then yells to his son, "Gohan!" SSJ2Gohan reacts and raises his hands above his head and quickly builds energy "Masenko!!" The blast slams hard into the Spirit’s face, and it lets Vegeta go. Freeza groans and starts to wake up. He looks up to see the beautiful Chelene. Piccolo notices Freeza coming to, and steps back to take precaution. He then sees how he looks at Chelene, it’s the first time he’s ever looked at him and saw no evil in his eyes. He thinks to himself: "This woman must have some sort of spell over him. The same one Bulma has on Vegeta and ChiChi on Goku. Whatever this spell is, I’m glad women can’t effect me with it."

Freeza is still badly hurt, but can manage to speak to her. "Chelene...I-I’m sorry..."

He’s never said those words before in his whole life. Chelene: "Don’t speak, you’re still hurt, I understand Freeza, I understand."

Freeza: "I’m going to stop doing what I’ve done from this day forth...I want to be with you...forever."

Chelene’s eyes well up. Freeza continues: "I have done so much wrong to so many people, especially Vegeta. When I fought him, I felt the years and years of rage he had for me. I caused that rage, that hatred. At first I wanted to defeat him again, but he was too strong, I then just let him hurt me as much as he wanted to, for I knew I deserved all that I got. But that wasn’t enough..I will make it up to him..." he strokes her hair, "...and to you."

With that said, he struggles to his feet. He finds the strength to power up to his muscular form, and he flies toward the battle. The beast is defending himself well, but SSJ3Goku is giving him the fight of a lifetime. He's the only warrior who is making an impact on the Spirit, even though the Spirit is still winning the battle. SSJ2Vegeta flies underneath the beast and prepares a blast, but is blasted from behind by the tail of the Spirit. Vegeta slams into the dirt, thinking to himself that he should have known the damn thing could fire out of its tail. SSJ3Goku swoops in and blasts the beast in the chest, leaving smoke where he hit. He then forms a glowing fist and punches him in that same spot. The beast staggers back, but recovers quickly. He blasts Goku in mid-air with his own ki-blast. Goku falls to the ground near Vegeta. Vegeta looks up and sees Freeza. "What is that bastard up to!" His expression changes when Freeza blasts the beast in the head. Cell is pissed.

"What's wrong with you!!!"

Cell flies at Freeza and they exchange punches. "You are so weak! Giving up universal dominance for a b---!"

Freeza slams his fist into Cell's mouth before he could finish. Goku and Vegeta don't know what's going on.

Vegeta: "He's crazy if he thinks I'm helping him fight on my side!"

Freeza forms a large ball of energy and is about to blast Cell, until the beast punches him in the back. Freeza is knocked unconscious into a cliff. Chelene covers her eyes. Gohan hasn't really been effective in the battle much, just watching his father and Vegeta's back, jumping in and out whenever needed. He always had a nasty hatred for Cell. He knew it was him who stole his blood and summoned this beast. He decided he was going after him. Gohan flew at blinding speed with a glowing fist heading straight for Cell, but again..."Gohan!" Goku yelled, but he was too late. The beast slammed a fist to Gohan from behind. Surprisingly, the hit didn't hurt Gohan, it just made him madder. He landed on his feet. The Spirit looks at the young warrior. "It was your blood that awoke me. I can smell it." Gohan responds, "It will be at my hands that you die."

A beat up Cell walks over to the Spirit. "I have a particular hatred for this one." He points to Gohan. "I want you to kill him slowly!"

The Spirit obliges, "As you wish, Master." The Spirit stomps at Gohan who flies quickly out of the way. He zips up at the Golden Gem in its forehead, and shoots a ki-blast directly at it.

"AAAHHHAAHHH!!!"

The beast holds its head as the gem shatters into pieces. Piccolo looks on, "Was that its weakness??" The Beast staggers to keep balance, but falls to one knee. Gohan looks at Cell. "I am going to destroy this beast. Then I'm coming for you!" The Spirit gets back to its feet and powers up, causing all the land around it to crumble. Trunks held up Chelene before she fell in the rubble, but her notebook with all that she was writing fell and was destroyed. Piccolo told Goten and Trunks to fly and take her out of the combat zone. Piccolo shoots into the battle, and lands next to Goku and Vegeta. Gohan and the beast battle.

Infuriated by the blast that destroyed its gem, the Spirit holds nothing back. "That was my immortality!!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Ki-blasts are fired out that causes a huge explosion, wiping out all the land caught in it. Gohan jumped high in the air away from the blast, but the explosion caused him to cover up. When he did, the tail of the Spirit swatted him into the ground. He jumps over and tries to stomp him, but Gohan moves out of the way. He rolls to one knee and delivers a blast that connects on the beast's shoulder, as the beast spins, Gohan again blasts him in the back sending it face-first into the ground.

Piccolo: "The kid is unbelievable!" Goku agrees, "I didn't know he could fight so well. I knew he had the power, but the skills are just as complete."

Vegeta looks around, "Where is Cell?" Just as that was said, Cell jumps high in the sky and is about to deliver a blast at Gohan from behind until Piccolo quickly reacts, Makkankossapppoooo!!!!!!" a bloody hole is ripped straight through Cell's shoulder. Cell is hurt, but not dead, Piccolo didn't have time to build up the power to kill him. Vegeta, however, doesn't need a lot of time to build up the power. He places one hand in front and screams out loud as his Big Bang Attack disintegrates him back into the next dimension! The Spirit gets up and witnessed his master being killed by Vegeta. He lets out a horrible shriek as he jumps at him and backhands him clear across the newly destroyed landscape.

The beast follows it up quickly with a ki blast that hurts Vegeta badly. Goku helps out by sending a thunderous punch to the head from behind, but the rage that consumes the beast makes him feel no pain. He swipes Goku with his claw that sends him crashing to the ground. He lay there hurt with four deep, bloody slashes in his chest and stomach. The beast turns back to Vegeta, his master's killer. He places one hand in the sky and a ball of fire starts to form. Vegeta comes to, but is too weak to move. The beast hurls the fireball at Vegeta, but just before it connects, a flash of light swoops in and takes Vegeta out of the way. Vegeta looks to see that Freeza has saved him.

"Put me down! Scum!"

Freeza lands and puts him down. Vegeta doesn't like anyone helping him out, he only tolerates "Kakkarot" and the others, but Freeza? Never. Vegeta kicks him in the ribs and delivers an uppercut that sends Freeza up and crashing down. Vegeta is still hurt, and drops to a knee. Piccolo checks on Goku, and Gohan looks over him as well. "Dad are you alright?"

Goku weakly responds," I'm fine son, you go get that beast for me! I know you can do it. You know now that you're the strongest warrior on the planet, maybe in the whole universe, you're the only one who can defeat it."
