Dragonball Z Character Diaries: The Life of Krillen

Man, the last few days have been crazy, there's been terrible havoc everywhere! Goku's evil brother came, and I'll tell you bro, it wasn't a very pretty encounter. Goku ended up sacrificing his life in order to defeat the enemy, and I heard it was Piccolo who managed to put the killer beam through those both. Man that guy gives me the creeps, he's just too weird! Anyway, he took Gohan, and I had to explain to Chi-Chi what had happened! That wasn't a very nice meeting. I couldn't tell her in the end, but when she found out she went ape! Glad that's over though...hmm...what else...oh yeah, I almost forgot! Yajirobe came with this mondo cool offer, asking me to train at Kami's Lookout! You just don't say no when God offers to assist you in bettering your fighting skills! Tien, Chao-zu, Yamcha and Yajirobe were all there too, and tomorrow we begin.

Well, last time I wrote to you I was about to commence training, but now it is but a few hours before the Saiyans arrive. I have reached awesome new levels of power, as has everyone else, especially Tien. We should be able to beat those Saiyans into a new dimension without any trouble, and if what I've heard about Piccolo and Gohan is correct, they're even more powerful than us! This may well be my last fight if we are still overwhelmed in terms of power, but surprisingly I'm really not that scared. God has taught me well, and the time we spent doing everything should have been enough preparation. I can't wait to see Goku again either! This is gonna be one solid fight, but we can come out on top.

Yo bro, what's up? The fight with the Saiyan's is over...it was a terrible, but momentous occasion. Their power was too immense for us to handle, and even Goku had real trouble beating them, but of course he pulled through and saved the day once again. He is mondo cool in these situations though, and can always be relied upon. 

The fight started with us fighting the saibamen, and one of those damn cowards attacked Yamcha from behind, and self-destructed on him! I can't believe how bad that was, a life of a good human being taken in such a cowardly way! I attempted to avenge his death by taking them all on, just as he was going to, and I managed to kill most of them, with Piccolo getting the lone survivor. 

After we beat these little green men, the big guy came forward, called Nappa I think, and he began fighting us all. His strength was just too much, it made Piccolo look like a weakling! He easily beat me, and killed Tien, Chao-zu, and even Piccolo! Damn! I wish I could have done something more to help! I was useless in the fight, I should have been able to save them all! 

After Nappa had killed the three of them, he turned to Gohan, and was about to finish him. I was too badly hurt to help him out, but thankfully Goku arrived just in time and rescued his son. He then cured us both with a sensu bean, and we left, leaving him to prove his strength and defeat everyone. We didn't get far before it was clear something was up, making us turn back and try and assist Goku in what little way we could. I wish we hadn't have though, because I ended up getting beaten up again, but we had the final laugh, leaving the only remaining Saiyan on the floor, with me hovering over him with Yajirobe's sword. Goku stopped me from killing him though, and as much as I have regretted it, I know that he was probably right in telling me to. The Saiyan escaped, and I am currently residing in hospital for a while, but I should be let out soon. Later diary.
