Summary:

Meeting Once Again
On a rainy day, the Tenkaichi Budoukai would take place.  Some showed up early and had their umbrellas up and working. Muten Roshi and Lunch were one of them, while looking at their watches, and Lunch whining that everyone is late. Just then, a taxi pulled up, surprising Lunch and Kamesennin. Out came Bulma, Puar, and Oolong, with Bulma saying that it's good to see them again! Lunch said the same thing back, when Bulma asked if everyone was alright, then walked up to Lunch, asking how the woman's touch has been handling? All the while Bulma talked, Kamesennin was rubbing his hands on her butt, making Bulma elbow him in the face, saying that is an old pervert! Muten Roshi just painfully held onto his face, saying that she still hasn't grown a sense of humor, while Bulma tells him that he is still the same old man. Muten Roshi got is glasses on straight again and asked where was Yamcha? Oolong explained he left West Capital and went off training somewhere. Bulma then cursed him for doing that, to which Kamesennin said that Krillin went off to train too. He then said it was hard to believe it was three years ago since they last saw Goku.

They then heard someone call out for them, making Kamesennin ask Bulma if he knew him? Bulma said no, as she stared at the turban wearing, straw umbrella, and tall man. The man then said he was glad to see the old man alive and that everyone else was looking well too! He then looked around, asking where Krillin, Yamcha, and Tenshinhan were? He then also asked if this is where the Preliminary Matches would meet? Bulma, Lunch, Kamesennin, Oolong, and Puar all had a huge surprised look of amazement on their faces, while the man, who they now figured out as Goku, asked what was wrong? Goku then looked up, saying that the rain is almost gone. Oolong then asked if this was true, if he was really Goku? Goku then asked if his turban fooled them, so he'll take it off. After doing it, he said that that's better and if they recognize him now!? He then looked at Bulma, asking if she shrunk? Bulma then asked if he had grown? Goku then scratched his head, saying he might have grown a little, but then asked if she was sick because she has something red on her. Bulma screamed out that that was lipstick! Kamesennin then said he never seems to amaze me. A little while later, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Krillin, and Chaozu showed up, with Krillin saying that they're here! Tenshinhan then bowed, took off his hat, and said hello to Muten Roshi. Everyone just starred at them, and were quiet until Yamcha asked why was everyone looking at them strange?

Krillin then told them that everything was alright then. Krillin then walked up to Muten Roshi, asking if he knew something was different, and that was he got taller (actually, Goku is much taller than Krillin, but Krillin must have grown about a foot, while Goku has grown about two or three feet)! Goku then patted Krillin on the back, saying it's good to see him! Krillin then got surprised, while Goku went on to say that everyone else was looking good too! Krillin then pointed, repeating Goku's name a couple times, making Goku say yes! Krillin then started to hug Goku, saying that it is really him and he missed him so much! Yamcha then asked if this is Goku, while Tenshinhan said that he must be. Everyone started to walk off a bit, when a man on a loud speaker tells everyone that today is the day of the Tenkaichi Budoukai. He tells them that everyone that will participate needs to come and sign up so they may have a total and start the Preliminary Matches. Krillin then said that it's time, while Goku asked if he had any motivation for them? Kamesennin asked what did he mean, but that to only use what strength you have and more, plus to remember your training and you will be successful! Everyone then agreed, but Tenshinhan wanted to know if he was going to come in another time? Kamesennin told him that everyone is too strong for him now. Bulma then grew a smile, asking how Goku ever grew to be such a tall, handsome man? Oolong then sneered, saying if she was really that adulterous? Krillin then asked Goku as they walked how the training went with Kami Sama? Goku told him that it was harsh, but helpful!

At the gymnasium, everyone is warming up and putting on their fighting clothes. Krillin then put on his uniform, telling everyone that he has made his own uniform without Muten Roshi's help this time! Yamcha then put his on, saying he did it too. Goku then smiled, saying he has as well! Krillin then starred, saying that his looks different. Yamcha then looked at Goku's butt (gay now?) saying that his tail is gone! Goku then said that's true, since Kami Sama pulled it off. Goku told him that Kami told him that something happens to me when the moon rises, so he told me that the tail would have gotten in the way of the training. Yamcha then said okay, while Krillin sarcastically told him that's just a shame! Goku then felt a chi enter, with Yamcha and Krillin asking what is wrong? There stood the child of Piccolo, dressed in black, with a turban and cape, looking at Goku for the first time. Yamcha then asked what was so special about him, as well as Krillin. Tenshinhan overheard them, looking to where Goku was looking. He then got scared, saying that he is, but never finished. He said that this was impossible, not even true! Goku then said to himself that he is... Piccolo Daimaou. Piccolo then starred silently at Goku, smiling evilly.
