Dragonball Z Episode
75: One Who Has All Seven Balls...Say the Right Words
(original, Japanese episode)
Gohan stands outside Frieza’s ship
admiring himself in his new Saiya-jin outfit, calling himself the
strongest fighter in the universe. Vegeta emerges from the spaceship
and asks if Krillin would be back in two hours. Annoyed, Gohan says
yes. Vegeta tells him to stand guard over the dragon balls while he
takes a nap.
Krillin is shown flying through the air
looking for the Grand Elder’s tower. Dende is also shown searching
for Krillin. He flies over the location of the battle with the Ginyu
Force and sees a body on the ground. Terrified that it might be
Krillin, he darts for the ground crying. As he gets closer to the
body, he sees it is not his bald friend, but Burter of the Ginyu
Force. Dende looks around and sees the bodies of the other Ginyu Force
members, but no sign of Krillin. In the meantime, Vegeta enters the
recover room or Frieza’s ship where Goku sits in the recovery pod
asleep. Vegeta says once Frieza is out of the way, Goku is next. He
sets an alarm for 30 minutes and falls asleep, while Gohan sits atop a
dragonball outside bored out of his mind.
Nail is exhausted from fighting Frieza
as the villain taunts him. He tries a large ki blast but it has no
effect on the tyrant. Frieza then disappears and reappears in front of
the Namek and backhands him in the face. Nail falls to the ground,
writhing in pain, as Frieza makes his last warning to give him the
password. Nail admits the truth that Dende has probably already given
the Earthlings the password and Frieza is too late. Enraged, Frieza
storms off and tries to contact the Ginyu Force, but doesn’t get a
reading of their life forms. Back at the tower, the Eldest Namek
admits that he should have given the Earthlings the password so Nail
would not be suffering right now. In the spaceship, Vegeta and Goku
continue to sleep, while Gohan waits outside the ship. Suddenly, one
of the dragonballs starts to roll away.
Krillin continues his quest toward the
tower when he detects a small ki flying toward Goku. He recognizes the
ki and flies toward it, seeing that it is Dende. He calls for his
little green friend, but the Namek only sees the Saiya-jin armor and
is terrified. Once Krillin flies closer, Dende realizes it’s his
bald friend and the two rejoice.
The escaping dragonball gets stuck on a
crack in the ground, and the thief is revealed as Captain Ginyu the
frog. Gohan stops the culprit and tries to grab the frog, but Ginyu
escapes. A pink frog emerges and seems to have a crush on Ginyu and
chases him away as Gohan laughs. Meanwhile, Krillin and Dende exchange
stories and rush off towards Gohan, arriving much to the boy’s
delight. Gohan tells Krillin that Vegeta is asleep, so Krillin devises
a plan to move the dragonballs and make their wish before Vegeta wakes
up. After the balls are moved, Gohan notices Frieza’s ki flying
toward them! In Namekian, Dende calls for the dragon, but nothing
happens.
Krillin starts to panic, but the balls
start glowing and the sky turns black. Frieza is shown dumbfounded by
these strange occurrences. A burst of light shoots toward the sky as
the dragon forms. The dragon’s name is Polunga, the “God of
Dreams.” Polunga says he will grant any three wishes they have. The
Earthlings are ecstatic that they can wish back their friends. As
Vegeta sleeps and Frieza approaching fast, what will they wish for
first?
