Comic One Hundred and Eighty-Two
Summary:

Confront Destiny! Goku VS. Piccolo
The announcer told everyone that Shen is finally down, so they will start the count. He got up to five, when Piccolo told himself that it wouldn’t matter if they counted and he got up, because he would be harmless. He then looked at the bottle, saying that Kami’s soul is finally trapped within! The announcer then said that Shen has been down for ten seconds, so the win goes to Ma Junior, thanks to be his mysterious technique, so he can go onto the finals! Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Goku, Krillin, and Chi Chi all looked on, while Goku kept repeating in his head that Kami has lost, and was sucked into the bottle! Shen then got up and looked around, wondering where he was. The announcer, who was trying to shake him awake, said it’s good he’s awake now! Shen then wondered what was going on and as he got up, everyone cheered and clapped for him. Shen then asked the announcer if he was in the Budoukai ring? The announcer got surprised, saying he is, asking also if he hit his head? Shen moved out of the ring, saying he might have, while going through the crowd, telling everyone he was sorry. He kept thinking to himself how he got there, if he drank too much sake!? Just then a kid yelled out for his papa, surprising Shen. The kid told Shen that he almost won and didn’t know he was this strong! Shen just asked what he meant, while the announcer told everyone that the finals would be between Son Goku and Ma Junior! He concludes by saying that this fight will have the best potential out of them all and will start after ten minutes rest. Ma Junior just scuffed at the announcer, saying he does not need rest.

Kamesennin then said he would go visit Goku, as Ma Junior walked through the entrance, telling the fighters to get out of his way! Goku then asked what he did and to give him the bottle! Piccolo told him that would be impossible, since that is where his troublemaker lies! Piccolo then gulped down the bottle, making all five warriors scream out. Piccolo finished the bottle, while saying the only way to get to the bottle now is to kill him and if he kills him, then Kami will die! Goku just cursed Piccolo as he walked by and Piccolo saying to get ready, because when Goku goes up, he will be annihilated! Kamesennin then appeared, asking Goku what is going on! Yamcha said that it was his master, while Tenshinhan asked who was that guy, the Ma Junior? He tells Goku that he knows he’s a demon and has extra strength, but what else? Goku then said that that was Piccolo Daimaou. Everyone screamed out in surprise, while Tenshinhan said that couldn’t be true, since he killed him! Goku said that he has, making Chi Chi say HE was the one that saved the world from Piccolo? Goku explains that he learned from Kami that Piccolo spat out an egg before his death, giving birth to Ma Junior, who is Piccolo Daimaou’s twin! Goku then clenched his fist in the air, while saying that this one is even stronger than the previous one! Kamesennin then said that he would have never guessed Piccolo, so they have a problem now. Yamcha then said that he saw something earlier, the Mafuuba, and Shen’s body.

Tenshinhan said that he saw it too, that someone came out of Shen’s body that looked like Piccolo! Goku told them that it wasn’t Piccolo, but was fighting Piccolo in a human body. He then answers that it was Kami, making everyone repeat the name! Goku explained that a long time ago, Kami used to be one person, but to be Kami, he would have to separate from evil, thus creating Piccolo! So, if one of them dies, the other will as well. Muten Roshi said he understood and that the Mafuuba is the perfect technique to eliminate without any risk, while Goku asked if they could get Kami out of the bottle? Tenshinhan told him that if they removed the lid they could, but Piccolo swallowed it. Krillin asked what they were going to do, that his strength is so great, he beat Kami! Tenshinhan told Krillin that was right, that even if they attack, they don’t have a chance. Yamcha then said that they have to rely on Goku again, making Goku bring his fist up, saying they can count on him! Kamesennin did say that the Mafuuba is useless to Piccolo now, so they have to put hope on Goku. Yamcha then said that Piccolo must have come to the Budoukai because Goku’s existence troubles him. Piccolo then came out of the shadows, saying it may be. He goes on to say that Goku’s life bothers him, much more than Kami. He then said that he would kill Goku this time and to give a warning, that he is not as he was three years ago! Goku then smiled, saying he wasn’t either. Piccolo told him to stop bluffing, but he will still kill Goku and then the world shall be his. Piccolo concludes by saying that this world is reserved for demons!

Piccolo then laughed as he walked away and the announcer telling everyone that the finals will start, but would win? Goku or Ma Junior? He then asked for them to come, while Piccolo was just about to come out, telling Goku to not say good-bye to his friends, for they will join him soon in the after life! Krillin then ran up to Goku with a stupid grin, saying he will win and he is sure he will, right!? Goku then said he wasn’t too sure, making Krillin skeptical, while Chi Chi told him to have courage and she doesn’t want to be a widow yet! Goku then flexed as he walked out, saying it’s time. Goku walked out ready, while the announcer told them that it is suspenseful, that both of them are martial artists that will make the fight of the century! Krillin then sweated greatly, telling the announcer softly that he’s wrong that the world is at danger! The announcer concluded by saying the 23^rd Tenkaichi Budoukai would start now, so who will win? Piccolo then asked Goku if he was ready, making Goku ask ready for what? Piccolo then took off his cape, asking Goku if he was ready to die!? He then threw the cape on the ground, exposing his shirt and kept his turban on. Piccolo and Goku stood firm and ready, as Kamesennin, Chi Chi, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tenshinhan starred on, and Lunch and Bulma telling Goku to win! The announcer then asked for the finals of the Budoukai to commence, so go! Piccolo then screamed loudly as he ran to Goku, as Goku did to Piccolo, screaming just as loud.
