The Bittersweet End
The ship began to descend, with Krillin happily looking upwards. Goku began to see the ship too, and kept an eye on it until it finally landed. As the door opened, Chi Chi ran out pushing everyone aside, screaming out for Gohan! Krillin sensed something was up, while Goku looked to see and say Chi Chi. Chi Chi ran with rage, jumping clear over Goku, not even noticing he was there, while Krillin said this is bad. Chi Chi snatched up Gohan, screaming out his name loudly. Chi Chi yelled loudly that mommy is here and what did they do to you!? Krillin smiled, telling Gohan is fine, but it's really Goku, but is cut off, with Chi Chi crying loudly that she was so sorry she left him alone, that she will never do it again! Krillin then tried to remind Chi Chi of her husband, but she left. Bulma inspected Goku, asking if he was okay, while Muten Roshi exclaimed it doesn't look good. Goku slowly told his friends that the Saiyan got away, while Karin stood over Goku, saying to not feel sorry for such a victory, making Goku notice his master. Krillin walked up slowly, saying there is no word for that Saiyan's power, but they got everybody but four, including Yamcha. Bulma said that that's okay, that they can use the Dragon Balls in a year and wish everyone back! Krillin then gets surprised, while Karin ponders greatly. Bulma tries to convince them, saying she's right, right? Goku explained that Piccolo is dead, so the Dragon Balls are gone. Bulma then said that he's joking, that they said four survived, so that must mean it's Piccolo! Yajirobe then came about, saying it does matter! Bulma fell over, saying that it's not true, that Yamcha will never come back? She began to grow tears, trying to not think of it, but burst out crying, while Kamesennin asked Karin if he knew, with the cat saying yes.

Muten Roshi leaned over, saying he never knew that Piccolo wouldn't survive this. Yajirobe then yelled that he now understands, that everyone wishes it was him dead, but if he wasn't here, everyone would have died, so what does everyone think of that!? Karin then explained that it's enough, that their friends need medical attention and he's out of senzu. Kamesennin dragged Goku by his arm pits, pulling him into the ship. After some time, everyone is now in the ship, with Bulma still crying. Muten Roshi was no in control of the ship, asking which way were the bodies, making Krillin say a little more out that way. Krillin then pleaded to Bulma not to cry, that he knows this is unlikely, but it's a really slim chance. Krillin explains he doesn't want make them give their hopes up, but he thinks he has a plan, making everyone ask what!? Krillin tells them that he might just be plain stupid, but Goku tells him that it's okay, that he said something like that earlier, but what is it? Krillin then told Kamesennin to land here, that he'll explain later, but the bodies are down below. As everyone gathered some bodies, one asked where is Chaozu, with Krillin saying that he was blown to bits. Back in the ship, Karin tells that he wishes there was a way to bring back their friends, considering their hardship. Muten Roshi clenched his fist, saying that he feels so helpless with rage! Bulma then got back in the cockpit, saying it does wonders. She then got the ship going, while Gohan began to wake up. Chi Chi screamed loud for Gohan, saying he's awake! Gohan then got up, saying woah!

Gohan asked what happened, while Chi Chi tells Gohan that's it okay, that mommy is here. Gohan got up, asking for his mommy, while Chi Chi screamed that her baby must have been way too scared! Kamesennin told Chi Chi that he fought well and she should be proud. Krillin gave a thumbs up, telling Gohan it's over. Gohan then got up quickly, saying about the Saiyan, making Krillin explain he got away. Krillin smiled more, saying that they must have done some wonders, but he might not come back! Yajirobe wanted to bet on it, but Karin told him to shut it. Gohan asked where his daddy was, with Goku saying that he's behind, but is alright, thanks to everyone else. Gohan looked behind his seat, calling for his dad while Goku still lay flat. Yajirobe then looked at Chi Chi, saying if she's the wife, then she should take more consideration! Chi Chi looked away, asking what concern, about her own son getting killed? Chi Chi told him to not drag Gohan into this, but Gohan tried to say that the earth was in trouble, but Chi Chi only said that she cares nothing of the earth! Yajirobe pointed at Chi Chi, asking Goku if he can hit her. Bulma then got Krillin's attention, explaining that he was going to say something. Krillin told her that that's right, and began his story. Krillin told them that he thinks the Saiyans found out about the Dragon Balls through Goku's brother's scouter, so they were trying to get the Dragon Balls here. Goku asked if that was true, while Krillin said yeah, but they also said something about Piccolo, that they said he was from Namek!

They made it sound like that Kami Sama and Piccolo were aliens, while Yajirobe yelled that that's no surprise, making Karin yell to shut up! Krillin told them that they said something else, that Vegeta said that there are really globes of power that grant wishes on Namek, so if we don't get them here, we'll go there! Muten Roshi, Bulma, and Goku were both surprised by this new knowledge, while Yajirobe picked his nose, saying that's no secret. Gohan explained that he thinks he heard that too, about them knowing more magic balls! Krillin tells that if they could get to Namek, with Karin completing the sentence to get everyone back! Gohan got himself excited, saying Piccolo could come back too, while Chi Chi asked Gohan what was he saying!? Krillin got happy too, saying that it's true, that if Piccolo came back, so would Kami Sama and then the earth's Dragon Balls! He screamed out it could work, while Bulma said if that's the solution, it'll be impossible, to go to another planet. Krillin tried to hush Bulma, but Bulma told him if he knows where this planet is? Krillin got confused, until Goku told them to let him try, that he can contact Kaiousama and he'll probably know!
