Summary:

Goku's Request
On a flying ship, several crew members are making their way towards the battlefield, with one asking which way and another saying to go a little left. Bulma tells Kamesennin she understands, with Karin sitting in the back. Karin then notices something, signaling to go beneath the light now! Chi Chi then bursts out of nowhere, yelling if they are sure and if Gohan's okay!? Karin screams out he said probably, while Muten Roshi looks back to say they should have left her at his home. Chi Chi screams out once more that probably isn't good enough, while Karin yelps what else can he say!? Muten Roshi concentrates, saying that there are four of them out there, but then realizes it's five, carefully saying that he can barely sense their chi, so what happened? Karin gasps, saying he can barely feel them as well, which means the Saiyan is hurt badly! Back on the battleground, the space pod is floating high in the sky, as Krillin walks slowly across, asking what is it? The pod descends for the ground, right next to Vegeta, who still is lying on the ground and saying it's finally come. Goku slowly peers at his foe, while Vegeta rolls helpless across the ground. He finally leaves his imprint of where he was once crushed, and crawls along. Krillin has now made it to the ground, saying that that must be his ship. Krillin decides to take the advantage, telling himself he will not let him get away!

Vegeta curses everything around him, saying that he was so close. As Krillin makes his way, he spots Yajirobe's sword and picks it up. He explains to himself that they've come this far, so he will finish it. Krillin holds it in a fashion of a silent assassin, and walks right after the beaten opponent. On Kaiousama's planet, Kaiousama is thinking that it was close, that it will finally end after such a long time of fighting. He does begin to wonder though, that even though the Saiyan will die, the roots of evil will not be defeated. Kaiousama stares into empty space now, saying it's not the roots, which means that there is something more evil than this last Saiyan out there. Vegeta has finally made it to his pod, but Krillin has trekked far away, making his way right behind the Saiyan. Krillin then gets Vegeta's attention, yelling that this is for everyone whom he killed! Vegeta then screams out it can't be, that he can't move! Krillin then rears back the sword, yelling to die with his eyes shut! Just then, a voice calls out for Krillin, telling him to stop! Krillin immediately does so, with the blade at the tip of Vegeta's face. Krillin looks over, saying it's Goku! Kaiousama bursts out with anguish, while Goku still lay on some rocks, watching more. Krillin looks over, while Vegeta slowly makes his way to the pod, asking if that was Goku, talking in his head? Goku smiles, still using telepathy, while explaining to Krillin that he's too hurt to use his voice, but he does have one request, which is to let the Saiyan leave. Krillin looks with a surprised expression, saying that's insane, that the Saiyan tried to kill him and killed his friends! Krillin repeats that he wanted the whole world dead! Krillin screams that if they let the Saiyan go, he'll have more strength when he comes back.

Goku tells that that might be true, while Krillin yells that if he thinks Vegeta will see the light like Piccolo, then Goku has to forget it! Krillin yells with a bombastic tone that this foe is nothing like that, that he won't turn over and has no decency in him! Goku explains that he knows how dangerous he is, but when he saw the Saiyan so close to death, he just thought, what a waste. Krillin repeats if Goku said what a waste, while Goku explains that he was trained by Kaiousama, which means he thought he hit the peak of power, but Vegeta's was still greater, which made him shocked and scared. Goku closes his eyes, saying that he felt so excited and thrilled to fight a power much greater, which means it must the Saiyan blood, which isn't too smart. Krillin stammers as he watches the Saiyan readies himself in his pod, while Goku grits his teeth in anger, that next time, they will surpass and beat him, but he knows it wrong, yet wants to do it badly! Krillin then tries to fight back with words, but comes with nothing, finally making his decision to drop the sword. Krillin tells Goku that he saved the earth again, which probably gives him the right to say what he wants. Krillin then puts up his hand, saying that next time, Goku had better win! Goku says he will, while Krillin notices the Saiyan once more. Vegeta smiles greatly as he lays in his pod, telling Krillin that next time, there will be no mercy or miracles, so have fun now! As the door slams, Krillin curses Vegeta softly. Suddenly, the pod shoots up, heading high into the sky. Krillin now stands there, looking up, with clouds shortly around him. Krillin the walks over, picking Gohan, still asleep, saying it's okay Gohan. Yajirobe, still upside down, asks if he really went away? Yajirobe then picked himself up, saying he can't believe it, that he had the chance to finish him! Goku tells Krillin he's sorry, while Krillin slowly comes to his best friend, saying that it's nothing. Krillin tells that they have to now think of their lost friends, if there's any way to get them back. Krillin then notices something, looking up and seeing the ship that was just on it's way there, with Kamesennin yelling hello out of it!
