Dragonball GT Episode 24: Bebi's Counterattack! Target the Saiya-jin!

(English title: Discovering the Truth)

(original, Japanese episode)

Goku manages to save the alien child and the nurse, both unconscious, from the burning emergency room. Pan asks Goku if this changes his opinion about doctors (they helped save the boy before) but of course he is hiding again. The boy is being wheeled into another emergency room, and the doctors comment on how unlucky he is, that he was almost killed twice in one day.

(Outside, Pan and Trunks are trying to convince Goku that he shouldn't be afraid of doctors and he should climb down from the tree he is hiding in [??? crazy kid]. They can't even get him down with the offering of food, as Goku says he would rather starve to death than eat hospital food and meet doctors.) The boy peeks at them through a hospital window, and sneers. It is revealed that the boy is being possessed by Bebi, who is tricking the Saiyans so that he can later steal their dragonballs. He plans to possess one of the Saiyans and thereby be able to fight the other two.

Goku, Trunks, and Giru are trying to catch fish. Goku is a pro at this from doing it like 50 times during DB/Z, but Giru almost gets eaten by a fish himself! Elsewhere, Pan is playing with deer and is confronted by the boy, who asks the location of Goku. She is distracted by the deer and the boy (Bebi) sneaks up on her, and almost possesses her, but he notices Goku about to enter the clearing so he doesn't get his chance. Goku, Trunks, Giru, and the doctor from the previous episode enter the scene, and the doctor tells the boy he should still be in bed, while the boy argues that he feels fine. Still, the doctor wheels him back in, lecturing about how patients need rest. Bebi gets sick of this and decides to possess the doctor (the heroes are not present at this time). The doctor (now Bebi) asks another nurse to take the boy back to his room.

Meanwhile, Goku, Pan and Trunks are lying on a hill, talking about how they can't wait to finish collecting the dragonballs and go home. Goku complains of hunger YET AGAIN. Pan suggests the hospital food, but Goku rejects this immediately, saying the doctors will give him a shot. The doctor that is possessed by Bebi enters, saying there is no possible way that Goku will get a shot, and Goku is finally convinced. Later we see him in the hospital on one of his eating rampages. Just like 20 times before in DB/Z, Goku eats like 100 plates of food and asks for one more, making everyone fall over. When they get up, the doctor asks Trunks if he would like a tour of the facilities, since he expressed interest earlier. Trunks eagerly accepts the offer, and the tour begins. Later, the two are inside the electron microscope room, and Trunks is mesmorized at the one in the center of the room. The doctor (Bebi) sneaks up on him and begins to choke him, revealing that he is Bebi, and Trunks understands that Bebi is not dead. Bebi also reveals that he killed everyone on board the gravity-crushed spaceship in the previous episode. He is about to possess Trunks, but Pan and Goku arrive, and Goku fires a blast at Bebi that knocks him away from Trunks. Goku tells Bebi that he could sense him in the doctor the whole time, because his energy was unsupressed the moment he switched from the boy to the doctor.

Bebi (now out of the doctor) attacks the Saiyans but is getting beaten badly. The three Saiyans prepare to destroy Bebi, but he erupts with a huge ki ball, and while everyone is struggling on the floor, Bebi slips into a wound on Trunks's arm. Trunks, possessed by Bebi, fires a blast at Goku, who is hit. Goku prepares to fire at Bebi, but Pan tells him not to because then Trunks will be hurt. Bebi uses the opportunity to get in Goku's face and prepare a point-blank attack. Suddenly, Trunks turns around for no apparent reason and fires the blast at the wall, enabling Goku's escape. It becomes evident that Trunks still has some influence over his body. Trunks powers up and manages to force Bebi out of his body.

At a nearby airport, a woman is checking her bags, sees something, and screams. A man asks her what's wrong, and Bebi replies "oh, nothing"..

Trunks, Goku, and Pan all sense Bebi for a second, which means he possessed someone. Looking around, they realize he could be in one of over a thousand people, so they return to their ship and leave to find the fifth dragonball. They wonder, why did Bebi go after them when there is a whole universe he could prey on?

The interior of Flight 1138 is shown. All of the passengers are dead, and Bebi is slowly evolving to his 3rd stage..
