A stray,
singular pod, seemingly a long way from home leaves a glistening trail as it
soars along the dark, starry depths of space. This pod is like no other
though, a bares the tattoo of the evil emperor Frieza emblazoned upon its
side. The pod leaves a streaming trail of brilliant white, and dashing orange.
Inside the pod sits a distraught man, a man who once resembled true pride. Now
he is nothing though, and he tries to relax in the pod, but is unsuccessful in
his attempts, and ends up withering away, his mind rotting as he can bare to
stay silent no longer.
“DAMNIT!
I can’t believe that I’m running from Frieza! What is the point? He will
peruse me no matter where I flee. The merciless idiot! I have got to merge
with those on Earth, only then can I be sure of having a chance of victory”
Zarbon shouted. “Actually, now that I come to think of it” he commented,
starting to calm down a little “Ginyu should have arrived by now. I wonder
what Frieza has done to him. Maybe I won’t need to run after all!”
Zarbon
doesn’t sound at all optimistic, but he places his scouter on none-the-less,
and starts flicking a few buttons.
“Dodoria,
tell me, how is Captain Ginyu?” Zarbon asked.
“He lost
his head” responded the purple alien.
“What
the hells that meant to mean you idiot?!”
“Frieza
blew his head clean off for disobeying him! Don’t come back Zarbon! Hide out
in the farthest regions of the galaxy. He is already searching for you, it is
only a matter of time before he finds you too. You must either hide, or kill
yourself!”
“That
wasn’t funny”
“It
wasn’t meant to be. Shit, I have to go, I can hear footsteps, this line
isn’t secure either, so don’t make any more scouter transmitions. Got it?
“Yeah”
“Good”
Zarbon responded, as he takes the scouter off, and gazes silently into the
vast area of space. The many planets decorate the otherwise lifeless sky, with
their glowing gasses, and illuminating orbs of moons. He is immersed in a
lifeless trans, watching, waiting, what hideous fate will await him? His
destiny will be settles out there somewhere, but until then, Earth his primary
target, and hopefully it will turn out to be a major ally.

Korosu is
on the warpath, destroying everything in his site, as cold tears gather in his
eyes. His fists are clenched hard, and his nose runs a little. Not bothering
to wipe it away, Korosu eventually falls down to his knees, mourning over the
loss of his good friend. Korosu digs his hands into the sandy ground, of the
harsh, unforgiving planet. His tears create small streams, which run along the
surface of the floor, trickling along to the boot of an extremely muscular
soldier. A saiyan soldier. His tail swishes through the air with utmost ease,
before coming to a rest on the sandy ground. Korosu takes a deep breath in,
and wipes his tears away with his arm, considering it dishonorable to be seen
in this weak state of mind. Korosu looks up, and admires the soldier.
The saiyan
that Korosu gazes at is extremely different to what he expected. The man was
huge, at least a foot bigger than himself, with a fairly muscular build. He
had an arrogant smile spreading across his face, along with a scar that runs
down his cheek. His hair stands up on end, as is the way with most saiyans.
“I am
Bardock” the soldier finally said.
“I’m
Korosu”
“What’s
up with you the? Crying like a baby and all”
“I’m
not being a baby! My sensei just died to the hands of Frieza! I must gain
revenge!”
“Frieza?
No way. I just returned on a planetary conquest mission for him! There’s no
way that he would want to betray us after all that we have done for the
guy!”
“His
henchmen came in and totally dismantled everyone, and everything” Korosu
started. “I was in the regeneration tank of the time, so I was lucky enough
not to be noticed, but everyone else was les fortunate” This comment seems
to strain Korosu greatly, as he closes his eyes tightly, in annoyance of him
being out of the situation, and so useless during the battle.”
“You got
any proof kid?”
“Proof?
You want proof? There’s a whole God damned load of bodies in there –
Saiyans, and Frieza’s henchmen! You go check them out, and then see if I’m
lying!”
“Whoa,
calm down Korosu, I’ll go have a look” Bardock exclaimed mockingly.
Korosu
fell to the floor; irate at not realizing that something was wrong when he was
recovering. He starts pounding away at the helpless ground, beating it until
his fists start to bleed. His tears have began to return, slowly trickling
down his face, feeling ice cold on his hot, flustered face. He starts to roar
with anger, hardly able to contain his rage. Gusts of energy flash from his
sides, blowing everything in existence backwards, or so it seemed. He starts
to roar out in pain and anguish. The waves of energy become more intense, and
turn to pure, raw beams. He has a golden aura forming around him, roaring all
the time. His hair gives a quick flash, turning blonde for less than a second,
but immediately returning to its normal, black colour. The agonizing screaming
continues, as the energy intensifies even more. The aura has become so
powerful that Korosu is now standing in a crater, about his size. Bardock has
long since come out of the building, and is looking on with a mixture of
horror, and awe filling up his face. Korosu’s hair flashes blonde again, but
this time maintains the colour for a few seconds. His eyes metamorphosize into
a dull green, before he returns completely to his normal form, with the
energy, and charging up coming to a rapid halt. He looks up, and notices that
all eyes are focused on him, with occasional gasps flooding around the town.
Bardock lowers his hand, and pulls Korosu up.
“You….you….almost
turned super saiyan just then!” Bardock exclaimed, somewhat disbelievingly.
“Frieza
must pay! I need an army though! An army of purebred saiyans, hell bent on the
destruction of Frieza and his forces!” Korosu yelled out, with his lungs
shaking all the time due to the massive amounts of strain that they have been
put under lately.
“I’m
in” Bardock stated coolly.
“How
powerful are you?”
“15,000
maximum, but I will not give up, and I shall fight for our people!”
“Good,
now let’s go, we have to prepare, as it may be a long journey ahead of us”
“You
know we’re not ready for Frieza just yet don’t you Korosu? I mean, we have
to train like mad to beat him!”
“I am
going to fight him tomorrow! You don’t have to come. It’s your choice.
Live with yourself if I die in battle with no one to watch my back”
“Damnit
Korosu! That’s not fair! Ok, I’ll do it! I’ll meet you here, tomorrow at
sunrise” Bardock submitted, with a tone of annoyance in his voice.
“Thank
you Bardock. Remember to believe in yourself. I know that we can take this guy
out!”
