Summary:

Taking the Air
Namu flies to Goku, yelling out for forgiveness, while Goku is slowly waking up, not knowing that a powerful force is homing in on him. The attack from Namu is major, causing everyone to cry out, except for Goku, who can only make a small noise of life, then loses consciousness. Namu then tells the announcer to begin counting please. The announcer then starts to count, while Yamcha and Jackie both look on, not knowing if Goku will be able to walk again, but Krillin just looks at Goku, wondering how he is. Namu confesses that he is a pacifist, but the attack would not let Goku become awake for ten days. Oolong, on the count of six, can't believe that Goku has actually lost his battle. At nine, Goku twitches his hand, making Namu wonder if he's seeing things. Goku then gets up, right before ten is announced. Everyone looks at Goku, while Goku coughs, telling Namu he could have really hurt him. Jackie Chun thinks that Goku knows no pain, while Yamcha and Krillin cheer Goku on. Namu is severely scared of Goku, while everyone in the stadium starts to cheer. The announcer goes on to say that Namu is in awe, wondering how such a small boy can withstand such attacks!? Namu tries to think up of an excuse to why Goku could be able to stand after that, unless he missed the pressure point.

Namu gets angry and tells Goku that he won't make the same mistake twice. The match, is now his. Namu jumps in the air again, while Goku yells at him. The announcer examines that Namu has gone up to the sky once again, and this time though, it's much higher! Goku is impressed, seeing such a cool jump. So, Goku wants to do it too. He crouches down and then pushes his weight all upward, flying up to Namu. Namu then tells Goku that he will do his attack once more, but more painful. He puts his hands as an X in front of him again, flying towards the ground. But, along the way, he sky rockets past Goku. He gasps in astonishment, while Goku scolds himself for going too high. Goku stops himself quickly and puts all his force to go downwards. Namu yells out that he cannot be human, while Goku now goes at the same height as Namu. Namu tries to swing in the air, but it's as though he's swimming. Namu gets discouraged and tires one hard punch once more. However, Goku has pushed his weight more forward now, making Namu miss and have to come after him.

The announcer yells out that the two have become something of fantastic fighters for all, making everyone within the stadium look up. Goku flies faster towards the ground, with Namu behind. The announcer sees that Goku and Namu are coming to the ground now, while Namu is still trying to do his attack, saying he can still win. Goku touches the ground, pushes himself backwards, and then does a flying kick forwards. Namu, unprepared for this, is prey to Goku's kick to him. This makes Namu lose all balance and falls out of the ring. Goku smiles happily, while everyone in the stadium feels the air with joy, yelling and screaming. The announcer screams that Goku is on to the finals, while Yamcha and Krillin celebrate for Goku. However, Jackie Chun is thinking, that he could lose his match.
