Launch was driving her daughter to school. When her daughter Iria ask her a
very surprising question. " Mom what's my dad like?" Iria asked her mother.
Launch looked over for a slight second. " Why do you want to know Iria?"
Launch asked her daughter. This was a thing she feared for the past eight
years. " I was just wondering" Iria told her mother.
They got to the school and Iria grabbed her GundamWing book bag. " Tell you
what I'll tell you about your father when you get home OK" Launch told Iria.
"Ok mommy" Iria said and kissed her mother good-bye. She got out of the car
and went into school.
Launch drove off to work. Ever since Iria was born she knew someday her
daughter would ask about her father. This was something that she thought that
Tien would not want to deal with.
Sure the romance on the beach was great. But, she was not sure if Tien was
ready for a child. Launch snapped out of it when she go to the palace. She
had to tell Tien sooner or later. She got out of the car and went to the door.
Launch thought about leaving but, decided to get it over with. So she knocked
on the door. " Yes" said a guard. " Is Tien here and if so I need to speak
with him" Launch told the man. " Who are you?" the man asked to blonde woman.
"My name is Launch I used to date Tien" Launch told the man. " Oh, yes come
in" the man said and told Launch to follow him. He lead her to the family
room. " Wait here. I'll get Mr. Tien for you" the man told her. " Thank you"
Launch said to him. " My name is Cal" the ma told the blonde.
Cal knocked on Tien's bedroom door. " Come in" said a vice from inside the
room. cal opened the door and went in. " Mr. Tien there is a lady who wishes
to speak with you" Cal said. " A lady do you know her name?" Tien asked Cal.
" Yes sir, she said it was Launch" Cal told Tien. Tien wasted no time in
getting up and ran past the guard. Cal just shrugged and went back to his
guard duties.
Tien thought about Launch everyday for the past eight years. He never thought
he would see her again. This time he was not going to mess up this chance NOT
like last time. He got to the family room. Tien took a quick look in the
mirror and then he walked in.
Launch saw Tien come in and she stood up and they smiled to each other. " Hi"
Launch said to Tien being the first to speak. " Hi, you look beautiful" Tien
finally said. " Thank you Tien. You look good too" Launch told him. Tien and
Launch sat down on the couch. " SO how have you been" Tien asked Launch.
"Well, I've been busy" Launch told Tien. "Doing what?" Tien asked Launch.
"Let's see running my business, raising my child" Launch said and turned away.
Tien's eyes widen at the word CHILD. " You have a child" Tien said in
surprise. " Yes, I do and she is a handful" Launch told Tien without looking
at him. " Oh, so you have a daughter that's great" Tien said.
"Yes, out daughter" Launch told Tien now looking at him. " WHAT?" Tien asked
in surprise. Launch got up and looked out of the window. " Do you remember
that night we spent on the beach?" Launch asked Tien. "Yes, it was a special
night for both of us" Tien told her. " Well the result of that night was our
daughter" Launch told him and she tured away from him again.
Tien got up and walked over to Launch and hugged her. Launch looked at Tien
before speaking again. " Tien the reason I'm here is because I would like you
2 to meet" Launch told Tien. "Yes, I think I'd like to meet my daughter very
much" Tien said with a smile. " You would?" Launch asked. " Yes" Tien told
Launch. " Then how about you come to dinner tonight?" Launch asked Tien. "I'd
love too" Tien said.
With that Launch went to work and Tien went to decide on that to wear to meet
his daughter.
Tien was so excited he was grinning from ear to ear. Launch was very relieved
and happy. She didn't think Tien would be happy about this. But, to her
surprise Tien was glad to hear about their daughter.
It was 3pm and Launch was waiting outside for her daughter. Soon Iria came
out of the school. She walked over to her mother and they hugged each other.
Iria got into the car as did Launch. They drove home "How was school IIR?"
Launch Asked her daughter. " It was good mommy" Iria told her mother. "
That's nice" Launch said.
"Iria honey I have a surprise for you" Launch told her daughter as they
pulled into the driveway. " What is it mommy?" Iria asked with excited. "
Well you will see it tonight at dinner" Launch said. " Cool can't wait" Iria
said and kissed her mother's cheek. Launch just smiled.
They got out the car and went into the house. Iria got changed into a pair of
shorts and a T-shirt. She went to play outside with her friends. " Be back
before dinner" Launch called to her daughter. " I will mommy see ya" Iria
said and out the door she went.
That night Launch was in a knee high red dress with matching shoes. And Iria
was wearing a pink dress with flowers on it. The dress went to her ankles.
Iria's shoes were white with a buckle on them. Tien drove to Launch's house.
He had a big smile on his face.
Tien wore a pair of green pants and a while shirt. He told Yamcha and Choazu
he would be back later or in the morning.
"Mommy can I have my surprise not please?" Iria asked her mother. " Not yet
But, soon honey real soon" Launch told her daughter. " All right mommy" Iria
said to her mother. Launch took in a deep breath and let it out.
She was not sure how her daughter would react to meeting her father. Tien got
out of his car he went up to the front door. Roses in hand then he knocked on
the door.
"Yes," Iria said as she opened the door. " Hi there I'm Tien" He told the
little girl. " Right mommy said you'd be coming" Iria said and she then moved
aside to let him in. Tien walked in and Launch came out of the kitchen.
"Welcome Tien" Launch said with a smile. " Thank you for inviting me. Here
these are for you" Tien said handing the roses to Launch. "They are lovely
thank you" Launch said to Tien.
Iria rolled her eyes at the 2 adults. Launch went and put the roses in water.
" So how long have you known my mommy?" Iria asked Tien. "A long time. How
old are you?" Tien asked the little girl. " Me I'm 8 years old" Iria told
Tien. "That's a good age" Tien told Iria
"Thank you I'm Iria" She said holding out her hand. " Hi Iria I'm Tien" He
told her again and took Iria's hand and they shook each others. Tien thought
of how much Iria looks like her mother. Launch called them for dinner.
Tien let Launch sit down then pushed her chair in. "Thank you" Launch said. "
You're welcome" Tien told her. Before Tien could do the same for Iria she was
already sitting down. Tien took a seat next to Iria.
After dinner they were all in the livingroom. "Mommy can I have my surprise
not pleaze" Iria asked her mother again. " Yes honey now you may have your
surprise" Launch said hoping to Dende this would not back fire on her.
"Ok, mommy I'm ready" Iria said with excitement. Launch preyed to Dende this
would work. " Well honey you have asked me about your father. How would you
like to meet him?" Launch asked her daughter.
"Oh yes mommy I would like to meet him. Where is father? Iria ask her mother.
Tien watch to see what Launch was going to say.
" Well honey right here" Launch said pointing to Tien.
Iria looked from her mother to Tien. Tien just smiled at Iria. "Are you
really my daddy?" Iria asked Tien. " Yes Iria I am" Tien told his little girl.
Iria thought for a second then got up and jumped into her father's arms. They
hugged each other. Launch grabbed a camera and took a picture of father and
daughter. Launch smiled and thanked Dende for making this NOT back fire on
her.
Iria went to get ready for bed. " Launch I'm glad to see you and Iria are
doing well" Tien told Launch. " Well, thank you but, I hope you stay around
Tien. Iria would like that" Launch told Tien. " I hope I can stay around for
both of you" Tien Told Launch. Launch just blushed.
Iria was ready upstairs and in her pajamas. Launch and Tien went upstairs to
tuck Iria in to bed. " Hop in bed Iria" Launch told her daughter. " OK mommy"
Iria said and jumped into the bed.
"I don't think that's what your mother meant Iria" Tien told his child.
"I know daddy" Iria said and giggled. Tien liked it when Iria called him
daddy.
Launch pulled the covers over Iria and kissed her forehead. Tien bent down
and did the same. Iria was happy now she had a mommy and now a daddy.
"Goodnight princess" Tien said to his new found daughter. "Nite mommy
and daddy" Iria said to both of her parents. Tien and Launch left the room.
And Iria went to sleep to have wonderful dreams.
As for Launch and Tien they got married 2 months later. And everyone of their
friends including Vegeta were there to share in the joy of Tien and Launch's
happiness. And a month later Launch found out that she was????????????
