I've been watching DBZ for about two years, while it was on Sunday mornings, and then on CN. About four months ago I found out that the episodes I've watched, which I thought were a meaty chunk of the real series, were only a drop in the bucket! Since then I've seen two fansubbed movies (8 and 10, I believe, the first two appearances of Brolli) and the Pioneer uncut movies, and now I wanna see Gokou's missing torso and people impaled into craters!!

The only thing I can think is American parents suck nowadays. DBZ is horribly tame compared to shows I grew up on, like GI Joe, I mean those guys said damn at least a couple times an episode, and I doubt they never said "I'm gonna kill you, Cobra Commander!"

In the CN Deadzone, you don't find out how they found Gohan, and they didn't show Piccolo getting his ass whupped by the three goons (tootie frootie? C'mon, there's gotta be a better battle cry than that, spoon even had more behind it.) So then there's a movie with no pretext to why a main character is pissed at the antagonists, which is a horrible move on part of Funimation/Pioneer/CN.

As for the new episodes, my friend got a letter from Pioneer on how many episodes they picked up, and it's the six; from what we've seen to Gohan fighting Ginyu in Gokou's body. What kind of weak crap is that? Unless they're going to translate and digitize more episodes over summer, this could only appease fans for a short time.

A few weeks ago I bought the DB boxed set (the first twelve episodes, and the movie "Curse of the Blood Rubies" which is like the first 12 but with different bad guys.) I thought they were pretty good, there wasn't a ton of painting over, except for putting a digital stool in front of Chibi Gokou and window streaks across Buruma's breasts as she looks out a window. And a really crappy Shenlong on Oolong's panties, (He calls it underwear!)

I'll try and pull all my points together, although they're really random. All the parents groups who want to censor great animated series like DBZ can kiss my white ass. If their kids can't handle a little gore and death, they shouldn't watch TV at all. I think that sums it up. Oh yeah, maybe if we do more than a petition for uncensored DBZ, like go to Funimation and Pioneer directly and bitch them out (in mob form, mind you) they'll make special considerations for us "Big kids" who like art in all it's forms.
