Here is the final resting place of Dragon Ball Z Uncensored.

For three years, I ranted and raved about FUNimation's treatment of DBZ, exposing tens of thousands of fans to the truth about a show that they only knew through the filters of American reversioning and censorship. When all was said and done, I had compared the first 107 English episodes (seasons 1-3) to their Japanese counterparts, detailing exactly what was cut, censored, and mistranslated in each. And I had a hell of a good time doing it.

For a variety of reasons I gave up the project in June of 2001, but I feel that I accomplished what I set out to do. The site inspired others to seek out the original Japanese version and experience it for themselves, and that was my principal goal all along. Knowing that I helped influence the creation of incredible sites like the DBZOA (and a quite a few others like Sailor Moon Uncensored) is a thrill and an honor.

I am thankful and very pleased that the DBZOA has offered to archive the site, and I hope that DBZ fans will continue to enjoy it for a long time to come.
