Sysreset 2.53/Downloading tutorial
> Step
1:
After getting the basics of IRC and Sysreset,
you may wonder, "How do I download files?" or "How do I share
files?" Well, firstly, you need to understand that if you are going to
serve files, you need to be patient if the user is on a slow connection. Also,
sharing these files will slow down your connection a little if someone is
downloading off you. So, please be generous enough to share some files now
and then. It does not have to be full time 24/7. ^_^ If any user complains
that you are cutting off their download or not allowing them to download,
the Channel Operators "@" covered in the last section, will kick
you out of the channel with a possibility that we will BAN your user IP and
Internet address. So be warned. If you do not want that, then do not cut users
off.
> Step
2:
To download a file, you should have some customization
for Sysreset 2.53. Firstly, go up to the Sysreset menu at the top and click
on it. Then go and click on Addon Manager. A new window will come up and you
should select "Fserve_Browser.ini" and hit the Load button. Next
select "Fserve_Tracker.ini" and hit the load button. Afterwards,
click OK and go type !list in your type area. If anyone is running an Fserve,
their servers will come up on the screen. (Look at the image below) After
you type !list and see some servers, go back to the Sysreset menu at the top
and click on the option called Server Tracker. Click on #shadow-anime and
then click on a user who has an fserve running. After that, double click on
a trigger that the user has and a new window should popup. From there on,
you just double click to get a file, or double click to go inside a folder.
Double click the ".." at the top of the file list in the window
to go back 1 folder.

3:
You know a file is downloading when you double
click a file with an extention (.mp3, .avi, .jpg, .gif, etc) when a small
bar appears on the bottom of your screen. Look at the example below. Keep
in mind, if you are downloading, the bar says "Get" instead of "Send"
like mine. If it says "Send" then you are sending a file to a user
because they are downloading off your fserve.

tutorial
> Step
1:
The first step is, to go up to the Sysreset menu.
Then click on File Server Manager. Click on the tab that says Server Config.
Enable Ad Delay and change it to 60 mins. Then Set up how many sends you want
to be able to send at once. (In most cases its only 1 for speed purposes...2
is also fine if you have fast internet) Next you enable Queues. The first
box is how many 1 person can queue, the 2nd box is how many queues TOTAL you
want. After that, you diable Min CPS. You MAY enable Max CPS if you wish,
but I will not go in depth about that. You can also setup an Fserve Message
if you wish.
> Step
2:
Next, click on the File Server Trigger tab. Click
on the Add button and make up a name for the trigger. (DO NOT LEAVE BLANK)
After you enter a name, a window will popup. Click cancel. Then another window
will popup, now chose the place you have your files. (It would be nice to
keep all your files in 1 folder. For example, keep all your mp3s in a folder
called mp3, and have it sorted by artist or whatever. If its images, keep
your images sorted in a folder by anime series name, or image name...if your
files are unorganized, any user who looks at your files in Fserve will lag).
Next make sure the "Enable Trigger" box is checked and make sure
the "Respond To !list" box is checked. DO NOT fill out the part
with the X through it in the picutre below. This part is not needed. Have
someone test your trigger, and you are finished!
