Saiyans.Net- Interview with Stubborn, Webmaster - June, 28, 2003
Ada: What made you decide to start your site Saiyans.Net and why did you go with that name?
Stubborn: oooo Lets see .... well as you know personnally I owned DaAfghanGoku but after the 911 attacks the harrassing emails, and threats just kept comming and comming, so I decided it was best to close down the site and leave the community. After a while a fan emailed me known as (YOU ADA) hehe complaining about why I quite he was quite upset so I decided to open again... I wanted to open goku.com but it was taken to I though what goku is really his race and the best of the best saiyans wat else best fighters, pretty as hell wat else so I went with saiyans.net
Ada: What is Saiyans.Net current project or projects at the time?
Stubborn: well we currently are working very hard on the forum which again my good friend ada is a huge part of.. once the installation and bug testing is done he'll be leading it all the way. Another project that we have going is making the site more anime, since dbz is done and dbgt I do not like.. BEFORE you guys say anything I am not turning my back on dbz the site will remain exclusively DBZ but we will have more anime(s) covered so a range of fans can come and enjoy the site. This will also help build good Content...
Ada: What can we expect to see from Saiyans.Net in the future, mabee 1-2 years time?
Stubborn: well I am loosing my intrest in anime and the community greatly. The community is not the same so in 1-2 years we may be still open we may be closed but one thing for sure is that what ever happense the site will always remain in my heart its been beyond great to me. On top of all if we do close that does not mean that Stubborn will leave the web NO I plan to make this my Life and my future job maybe not making dbz sites but. Bigger and better sites for clients. :-D
Ada: Since it is almost Saiyans.Net big birthday, other than the forum what all can we expect, or at least you feel like releasing to the public at this time?
Stubborn: Well we are going to be releasing a CRAZY layout very clean and nice. Made by none other then our very own Ada again hehe :-D
Ada: Before we go, is there anything else that you think the public should know that I failed to ask?
Stubborn: well one thing is that since the day saiyans.net started till today I have never been after hits. I don't know if people notice or not I have not had pop ups (may be for like a couple of days then I have removed it) I have never had forced voting and I have always tried my best to bring the fans what they want. Although I am loosing intrest that does not mean the site wount live on. I have some AMAZING friends in this community that will help me make the site live. Speaking of friends I would like to send out mad Respects to ADA, Hector, DBK, DBG(goten) (although he left the comm), DBG(gohan) (he also left the comm) but all in all this community has been okay to me... but my friends always remeber I may not have known you in person but I still love each and every one of you like I knew you guys in real life you have been friends, companions, Brother and most of all great helpers. THANK YOU ALL.. Also I would like to thank the fans that visite the site and motivate me to work harder on the site. THANK YOU once again
