Review: This
game is great once you get into it. But it might not appeal to every gamer out
there. There is a lot of talking. Still, this game was very interesting and
different. The story really grabs you if you give it a chance.
The story develops through different characters you meet, and since the whole
thing is pretty in depth, some dialogue can go on for awhile. But its nothing
like some people said, not every person you speak with goes on for a long time,
and every piece of info is relevant to the game or at least entertaining, I
found none of it useless.
The graphics are among the best I've seen in an adventure/role playing title.
Sound and voices are done really well, giving the game characters a lot of
personality. The puzzles are pretty good and its a game that's easy to learn to
play, useful objects even become highlighted when they can be used in some way.
Like I said, a great game, for people who give it a chance. Definitely the best
adventure game I played. If you liked games like Grim Fandango, Monkey Island,
or even other classic adventure games like the Legend of Zelda series then give
this game a try, it probably might be the best you'll play, it was for me.
Gamers who don't want to deal with long conversations and an in-depth story, or
people who only like to blow stuff up or want constant non-stop action may not
like this game very much.
Still, it sets the standard for adventure games, I hope there is a sequel.
