Ok here we go, this tutorial is on how to make those cool tentacles webmasters use, sorry for no screen shots but i promise i will try to get them up when i can!. step 1: start a new image with a white background and make it 100 width and 400 height step 2: choose the selection tool (top one on the left on your toolbar on the left of u) and make it go all the way down.
step 3: Now use the gradient tool (if u can not find it right click the fill bucket) and choose the one that looks like it goes form black to wite to black and hold shift and drag it straight across the doted line area
step 4: go to edit>transform>perspective and then u will see 3 little boxes at the top of your selected area, click on the left one and drag it to the middle and the right one should follow it, make it so they all look like they are one box
step 5: now click on another tool (doesn't matter witch one) and click apply when the window pops up step 6: Now choose the selection tool again and choose ne where to unselect the cone u made so far. step 7: ok now go to filter>distort>shear and fool around and DONE U GOT A TENTACLE!!!
