Review:  Morrowind is genuinely well done game. Obviously the lengthy time in development was well spent, and you can see proof of that in nearly every detail of the game.

My only issues with Morrowind are the sometimes confusing control buttons, particularly with combat. It took me a few hours to understand the basics of fighting and even now, after a few days, I still don't know if I'm doing it right.

The other big issue is the actual combat system. There's absolutely no way of knowing if your enemy is near-death or barely injured. Often you find yourself quick loading over and over again, trying to defeat a seemingly easy opponent, saying to your self "I wish I knew if I even stand a chance against this guy!"

But apart from those small issues, the game is absolutely downright good. A truly massive world that I couldn't see anyone getting tired of. And with the thousands of quests, missions, etc. the replay value of Morrowind is nearly infinite.
