A dark and evil enemy has been trying to
suck the life force out of earth's people. The only ones that
knows about it and can fight against it are the sailor scouts.
They are regular teenage girls chosen to defend and protect
earth.

Sailormoon became really big in Japan and in
North America when they first came out. It took both Japan and
North America by storm. But I believe the downfall of this
anime was its constant repetitive storyline. It hooks you to
the series in the beginning, but after watching the series for
a while, I believe everyone would agree when I say, it's
basically all the same. In every single episode, there is a
monster that almost succeeds in capturing energy from the
people but always gets stopped by the Sailor Scouts. But at
some point, the monster is about to defeat the scouts when
Tuxedo Mask shows up with his OH POWERFUL ROSE! Then the
monster is defeated and the day is saved. If you look at each
episode, they are basically all the same.
The animation was adequate at best. The characters looked
quite unique but its the battle scenes that gave the animation
a bad score. The battle scenes were done very poorly but I
guess that's what you would expect from a series that focuses
more on Romance.
The sound effects are actually not bad. I found it very good
and suitable. The music is very catchy and the voice acting I
believe was close to perfect. The voices really portrayed each
characters with significant accuracy. It was very entertaining
and well done.
The characters were also a high point to this anime. They are
differently drawn characters and each had their own unique
style and personality. They did a good job on the character
models and really gave each character a different look.

Serena
The story revolves around Serena and her adventures.
She is sailor moon. She is very clumsy and lazy. She
only likes to do one thing, which is to eat food. She
likes to day dream allot and is love struck. She is
usually the one that defeats the enemy but of course
with the help of her friends and Tuxedo Mask. |
 Amy
Amy is very intelligent and is the smartest one of the
group. She is sailor mercury. Amy is always analyzing
everything and is always studying, doing her school
work. Her attack as sailor mercury is the bubble blast
which is not very strong but does confuse the enemy. |
 Raye
Raye is very passionate and authentic. She is sailor
mars. Raye would usually use spells and magic. She is
stubborn and a temper which usually leads to an
argument with Serena. Her attack as sailor mars is the
fire ignite which is a strong flame that can burn the
enemy to crisp. |

 Lita
Lita is tall, strong and competitive. She is
sailor jupiter. She is a bit older than the rest
and she likes to fight and compete with others.
She loves cooking and is very loyal to her
friends. Her attack as sailor jupiter is the
thunder crash which uses lighting to electrocute
the enemy. |
 Mina
Mina is a beautiful girl that wants to become
a singer. She is sailor venus. She was once
called Sailor V and had movies made based on
her. She was Serena's idol. Mina is sweet and
beautiful in and out. Her attack as sailor
venus is the crescent beam smash which is a
beam of light that can be directed towards an
enemy |
