Z // Collect the 7 dragonballs!
|
Dragonball Z is about a saiyan warrior named Goku and
his quest to protect his friends from the evil beings in the
universe. He begins the story weak but becomes very powerful
as the story progresses. There are 7 dragonballs and if all 7
are gathered, a wish will be granted by the eternal dragon. If
they get into the wrong hands, the dragonballs could be used
for evil purposes and destroy the whole universe. Therefore
Goku and his friends must prevent this from happening in order
to keep the peace.

Dragonball Z, though very popular if not the
most, doesn't quite provide an impressive storyline. Mainly
the story is about, good guy fights bad guy to save the world.
It's not all bad but it's a pretty straight forward plot. It's
not all about fighting either, some episodes wouldn't even
have one fight but for some the whole episode is only
fighting. It's pretty interesting that with all the fighting
involved, it is all revolving around the 7 dragonballs.
Basically that's what everyone wants, to get the their wish
granted therefore must fight off anyone else seeking it. The
story doesn't provide a good backbone but is backed up nicely
by the animation, sound fx and characters.
The animations are totally amazing. Martial Arts fighting at
its best topped off with big fireballs that can be launched
from the palm of the hands. That's what you get in a battle
scene. Though the major fights are separated in sagas, the
actual visual effects are very nicely animated. I can honestly
say that dragonball Z has one of the best fight scenes in any
anime series.
Sound effects are excellent. The music matches what's going on
in the scenes. The voices are nicely dubbed. They actually fit
perfectly for their character's personality. Sounds of
fireballs, explosions, body hits are very good and timed
perfectly.
Dragonball Z has tons and tons of different characters all
uniquely different from each other by the look, strength and
personality. The character models looks awesome and original.
I mean your not going to see a majin buu look-alike in any
other animes. The character development is excellent.
