- A cool effect with a 3D Studio Max blob -
Step 1: Ok first of all you will need to open a 3D blob thing you make in 3D studio Max(you must make one of your own, this tutorial does not cover how to make one) in Photoshop, I will be using the blob I made below.
Step 2: Now lets start a new project, and make it 400 x 400 pixels and insert our blob into the project Step 3: Now lets duplicate the blob image so now we have 2 layers with the blob. Click Here to see screen shot Step 4: Next we need to rotate(Ctrl+t) the duplicated blob around and choose OVERLAY, SOFTLIGHT, or SCREEN, any of these will make it look pretty cool. Click Here to see screen shot Step 5: Now repeat step 4 about 3 or 4 more times and you can/should mix the layer effect such as soflight, overlay, and screen and you could get something cool, heres something i made with that blob during art class ^_^ |
