There are several different ways that you are able to get starcraft, and since it is a pretty decent and old game, it win't be too cheap to buy, if you are willing to go out and buy it. Which is always the best thing to do, because it is always better to have your own CD key, because you never know who might be online at the same time as you, and if battle.net finds that there are 2 CD keys online at the same time, and the CD keys are the same, then it will disable both accounts, and make your IP adress invalid. So you're better off going and buying the game by itself because these days, the game is about $15 canadian, so you do the math, but thats only the original. Now If you want broodwar, which is what you need to join this clan, (now be aware that i am not telling anyone to go and buy this, it is all your choice, i have no say in this, and i am not forcing anyone) To purchace brood war, it is a bit more money, so i wouldn't suggest you just get the starcraft Battle Chest, which includes The orginal, and the Expantion Brood War, and Starcraft Insurrection, which isn't really anything, it's just a bunch of new maps. After you get that you're all set to install starcraft on your computer. There are also other ways to get a hold of the game, liekt here are places on the internet where you can get the demo version of the game, but you can't really do anything much on that, and, there are places on Kazaa, and other Kinds of programs like that where you can get starcraft illegally and get the CD key for it, (a random CD key) which i already told you is pretty dangerous. I already know a person who got banned from Battle.net for having a faulty CD Key. So i say again, that your best bet is to probably go out and buy it. |
