Subject : Movie #7 Staff :waldir Date : Wednesday, October 30, 2002 FUNi has just finished movie #7, and production is on schedule - here is something from VA Kent Williams "I just dubbed Dr. Gero for a DBZ movie last week...he got his android head kicked off again. It had a little Mexican android and a redneck android in it. Don't know the number." lol, not really professional when he dont even know the # of the android....

Subject : Fro real? No way. Yes! Staff :Juan Date : Sunday, October 27, 2002 There WILL be a live action DBZ movie. Now for those of you cringing at the thought of it thinking back to the Dragon Ball movie made in China... try not to fret.
We have better technology than back then, way better CGI. And finally successful attempts at bringing comic/video games to the big screen (Mortal Kombat, Spider-Man, X-men, The Hulk) So I think we stand a good chance.
While names like Robin Shou, Jet Li, Paolo Montalban have been tossed around.. I think personally unknown actors would be better since they are not hollywood stereotyped as of yet. although Paolo Montalban would make a great Goku or Yamcha.
Subject : DBZ/GT News Staff :Juan Date : Sunday, October 27, 2002 DBZ Video Game Release
The first video game will be called the Legacy of Goku and will be for Game Boy® Advance. The Legacy of Goku® is an action-adventure game complimented by engaging role-playing elements, that challenges players to defeat enemies throughout various quests in an effort to save Earth from the Saiyans, and save the galaxy from the evil Frieza. As the story unfolds, players explore vast lands and interact with numerous characters as they attempt to complete their quest.
The remaining DBZ episodes
Expect FUNimation to continue to release episodes on VHS and DVD as fast as retailers will take them. Cartoon Network plans to air approximately 50 episodes beginning September 3 and will finish the remaining episodes starting in September 2002.
When will Dragon Ball GT videos be available?
FUNimation plans to move forward with GT as soon as DBZ is finished. Therefore, the earliest videos would be available is 2003.
