In the game Eternal Darkness, Sanity's Requiem, you
play a young woman that is investigating the mysterious death
of her grandfather. You are in your ancestor's mansion when
you discover a book called the Tome of Eternal Darkness. This
book contains characters from history, each having gruesome
stories that you will live through.

Let me be blunt and
say that the gameplay is great. Much better than it's rival
game Resident Evil in which many people have compared it to.
The cameras don't get in your way, actually they pan out and
make it seem like your in a movie. The target system is great
and fans of horror games should definitely get
this game.
Very fun also very terrifying is what I call it. The storyline
is deep and is well written. The spell casting is awesome and
the insanity system is out of this world. The insanity system
measures how much you can take and you just go crazy when its
full.
Most people would always pre-judge a Nintendo game as a kiddy
game therefore making them look cartoony. But this game is
absolutely not targeted for little children is not cartoony in
any sort. The graphics can be compared with that of Resident
Evil in detail and realism. The creatures and characters are
well modeled.
From the crackling of fire to the howling wolves of the night.
The sound effects gives a chilling realism to the game.
Accompanied by a great musical score, the game's sound system
is very good. Great voice acting also gives it a big plus.
