This is an ancient art in which two namek and only two nameks can perform. During this fusion one of the nameks places their hand onto the other and then fully absorbs their body, power, and knowledge. When during this only one namek will have control of the thoughts and actions while the other exists in memory and by the power they bestow upon their controllers. This fusion is rare because usually a namek only does it in a critical state of being or when there is no other choice. The fusion process is only preformed twice in the Dragonball series; the First is Piccolo and Nail and the Second Piccolo and Kami.

This is a fusion in which the two fusers perform a synchronized dance where everything one fuser is must be identical to the other fuser. The more identical the fusers are the strong the product is. The fusers must have the same power level and perform the dance the exact same way or an error will occur. This can result in a misshapen fighter with weaker abilities then what could have happened. If this fusion is done perfectly then the product will be a strong fighter with the abilities and powers of both the fusers and then some. Both of the fusers have a certain amount of control over the body yet almost another persona is created within the new body. Along with new abilities and power these fighters wear a set of what could only be called "Fusion Clothing" because all the products of the Fusion dance are adorned with a black vest and white pants, complete with boots and wrist bands. These fighters also inherit another trait besides their stylish clothing, an arrogant (cocky) attitude. They seem to think they are unbeatable even when victory is useless, this causes problems for the fighter because he is not focused solely on the fight at hand, but yet on his performance of the fight. Nevertheless, this technique can produce a fighter with an amazing power level; however there power can be cut short for the fusion can only last 30 minutes. Such fighters that are produced are Gogeta (Goku and Vegeta) and Gotenks (Goten and Trunks).

This is the most powerful form of fusion. This fusion is done when two beings each adorn one of the portunga earrings, but on opposite ears. When this is done the earrings draw the fighters together like magnets and the fighters clash into one another into a bright white light, when the light fades one fighter remains, a combination of both of their powers and clothing. The fighters are much stronger even if their powers were combined while separated. Both fighters have control over the body but also forming a semi-new persona (really being a combination of the two) with some arrogant traits. Unlike the Fusion Dance, this fusion last forever, once the earrings are used cannot be separated. This fusion is only seen a few times throughout the Dragonball series because only the Kaioshins posses the portunga earrings. Such fighters as Vegetto (Goku and Vegeta), the East Kaioshin and Kabito, and the Rou Dai Kaioshin and some Old Witch are produced.
