- Episode Summaries - 62. Son Goku Approaches Rapidly! Break through
Freezer's Defence! 63. Awesome Magic or Trick? Mr. Guldo is Mad Now! One of Guldo's incredible features as I said was the time-freezing technique, but this doesn't last forever, it is the length of his breath time which is the power of his time-freeze. So the longer he doesn't breathe, the longer the time will be frozen for. Guldo instantly takes a deep breath and stops the time when the blasts are about to hit him directly. He hesitates as to where he should goto evade the blast and in the last second he hides behind a boulder, a quite obvious spot, but good enough. He breathes again, and thus the time resurrects. Krillin and Gohan spot Guldo behind the boulder, and fire another energy blast towards him. But Guldo this time is aware, and freezes time. The routine continues throughout the episode for a while, until Guldo uses a simple paralysis technique. Theya re paralyzed and unable to move as they are ensnared in a spherical material that holds them. Guldo begins to torment them and begins to slap their faces multiple times. Every hit Guldo inflicts on Krillin or Gohan makes Vegeta closer and closer to causing intervention. Suddenly Guldo decides to deliver the final blow and finish the fight off. With his psychic powers he rips a tree trunk off it's roots, and turns it into a sharp spear-like object. He fires the object like a bullet at both Krillin and Gohan. Just when they're about to suffer a terrible fate, the paralysis restrains when Vegeta intervenes and snaps Guldo's head off with a penetrating, slim bit of ki. With guldo dying a slow painful death, Vegeta decides to end his misery by plucking his hand out, and firing a dominant beam which sends him to another dimension. With Guldo out of the way, Vegeta decides krillin and Gohan are too injured to continue fighting, so he shows leadership and decides to take on the almighty Recoom, the second worst fighter of the unit, but extremely strong nonetheless. 64. Now Recoom! He's Bad! He's Strong! He's Unbelievable! Vegeta holds his ground, and powers up with an excruciating result. Debris and rubbish begins to rise at the cause of the eradicating power-up, and Recoom is very suprised at the saiyans power. Vegeta holds Recoom against the ropes most of the fight, as most of the fight it is shown them quarreling with bare fists, thrust-for-thrust but then Recoom starts to take advantage over Vegeta. Just as he had expected, after Vegeta's ruthless attack he had lost all of his energy. Vegeta began to get beaten to a pulp in return, as Recoom enjoyed the experience. Recoom continued his counter-assault, when suddenly Vegeta launched a massive ki blast towards Recoom. That was the last of his energy, and all it managed to do was rip off Recoom's armour and scratch him a bit. Recoom is seemingly invincible as he makes his confrontation. Vegeta is frightened, as Recoom tells him it's the end. He releases an enormous blast coming from the mouth, but Gohan knocks Vegeta out of the way, saving his life. The merciless Recoom is disappointed at the result, but suddenly finds himself locked up by Krillin. Recoom shakes Krillin off and follows up with a spin-kick to Krillin's theigh, sending him into the ground and taking Krillin out of the fight. Vegeta is unable to fight anymore, having lost all of his energy in that previous attack. He begins to yell at Gohan for saving his life and tells him he didn't need any help. The stubborn saiyan lies helplessly on the ground. Gohan stood there, facing the almighty Recoom in anger. 65. Don't Die Gohan! Goku finally arrives. Goku is now extremely close to Namek, finishing his training after a long journey. He is yet to arrive there, though. Gohan tries to withstand Recoom's ultimate assault until his father arrives. Gohan tries his hardest to foil Recoom, as recoom is effortless, bashing Gohan up with ease. Gohan cannot take it anymore, although he does show great endurance, standing up to a fighter like Recoom. Recoom is about to deliver the final blow, but is distracted by a pod that lands near the field. Goku steps out, holding a bag of senzu beans and looking strong as ever. Meanwhile the dragonballs have been delivered to Frieza, and Frieza and Ginyu are just seconds away from achieving their destiny. Frieza screams at the balls, asking for immortality. But, it doesn't work. He tries many many times, and sooner works out there is something required to summon the eternal dragon. Frieza surmises the nameks could know, so he relies on Ginyu to mind his dragonballs, and flies off to get in contact with the Nameks. Meanwhile Captain Ginyu trains a squad training to become the ultimate Ginyu Squad after the current squad comes to it's demise. 66. Goku, The Legendary Super Saiya-jin!? Goku heals Krillin, Vegeta and Gohan with his supply of senzu beans. They heal reasonably quickly, and watch as Goku steps on to fight the over-confident Recoom. Recoom assures Goku he'll die for interfering in his fun. Recoom threatens Goku that he'll deliver the Recoom Boom to him for wrecking his fun. Recoom rushes towards Goku, but suddenly has a look of agony on his face. Goku was so fast he jammed an elbow in Recoom's stomach, and Recoom gets the wind knocked out of him. Seconds after, recoom lands on the ground on his back, as the ground makes vibrant noises after the fall. After taking care of Recoom, he faces Jeese and Baata, who are both stronger than recoom, but not a lot stronger. Jeese and Baata stare in awe at the incredible warrior. Goku is emotionless as he looks on towards his foes. Vegeta has a thought that Goku could well be the legendary super saiyan. It seems Goku's training in Raditz's space pod really paid off. |
