It has been quite a while since the battle against Freeza on Planet Namek. Planet Namek exploded, but it is known that Goku is alive, but is not quite ready to come home just yet. Chi_Chi has hired a tutor for Gohan. He isn’t a very nice tutor either, he whips Gohan and badmouths Goku. Evenutally Chi-Chi throws him out the window and chases him away from the house. While doing homework, Gohan senses a powerful force approaching Earth. Just as he does, he gets a phone call from Krillin saying he senses it too. Gohan slips on his Saiyan armor he kept from Namek and flies to where the power will arrive on Earth. He lands finding Krillin, and is soon accompanied by Piccolo, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, Chaoutzu, and Vegeta (Who has been living with Bulma).

They see Freeza’s ship land in the distance. They approach it without using their power to fly so they are not sensed by scouters. Freeza is accompanied by his father King Cold, and Freeza himself is a cyborg. Freeza sends some men to hunt down the Z Fighters, but upon takeoff, they come back down to Earth in pieces. Trunks lands, not looking very happy. The Z Fighters can sense his power, thinking it may be Goku. Trunks finishes off Freeza’s henchmen and boasts that Goku isn’t the only Super Saiyan around. Freeza doesn’t believe him, until Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan. Freeza attacks him four times, but none of his attacks harm Trunks. Trunks cuts Freeza in half with his sword, then blasts away his remains. King Cold then challenges Trunks.

He asks to see his sword, and when it’s given to him, he attacks Trunks with it. But Trunks catches the sword and blasts a hole through King Cold. King Cold begs for his life like a little baby, but Trunks kills him and blows up his ship. Trunks tells the Z Fighters he knows where Goku will arrive and he will in 2 hours. They follow him, not sure if they should trust him. Trunks gives them all drinks as they wait for Goku. Goku lands in 2 hours as Trunks says. Trunks pulls Gpku aside to talk to him. Trunks and Goku transform and Trunks attacks Goku, but Goku easily blocks his sword with his finger. After knowing he can trust Goku, Trunks tells him about 2 androids that will surface in 3 years on an island 9 miles south west of South City.

He says in his time, he is the only remaining Z Fighter. Goku was killed by a heart virus 6 moths before the androids, and the others were all killed by the androids 6 months later, except Gohan, who trained Trunks and was then killed 14 years afterwards. He gives Goku medicine for his heart problem when it happens, then goes to his time capsule and leaves. Goku tells the others about what Trunks said, and they all decide to train to fight the androids.
