How to install Starcraft
Insert the Starcraft CD, the auto play screen should "pop up".
Select "Install and Play Starcraft"
If the Auto play screen does not pop up, double-click on the "My Computer" icon
Double-click on the CD icon
Double-click on the Setup icon
The install program will then give you directions on how to install.
How to install Starcraft Brood War
Close Starcraft
Eject the Starcraft CD from the CD-ROM drive
Insert the Starcraft Brood Wars CD
Click "Install Starcraft: Brood war"

Double-click on the Setup icon

Restart with only the Apple CD/DVD extension (or Apple CD ROM extension) active.
Insert the Game CD.
Run the installer application.
Restart with your normal extensions
Starcraft: What is a Spawned copy and what can it do
You can join any game created by the person with the CD-KEY you used to install.
The Spawn copy has a complete version of the map editor
Starcraft: A spawned player can not
You can not play single player.
You can not create multi-player games.
You can not join ladder or P.G.L. games.

Brood War is an expansion and an enhancement for owners of the full version of Starcraft, just like the spawning ability was an enhancement for owners of Starcraft. Both of these are intended
to be options for the full version only. Players who wish to play the Brood War expansion will need to own it. Multiplayer spawn games are still available with the original Starcraft for
players who do not want to purchase Brood War.
