» SUBJECT: Results of the AdultSwim.com Polls Gungrave vs Champloo?
–• Tuesday , August 24, 2004 @ 11:42 pm
- Recently an [adultswim] poll was held at adultswim.com to determine which anime the audience would like to see air on CN. The wait is finally over and the results are in. Gungrave triumphed Champloo at the polls by a gigantic 52% at the end of the day. Gungrave (52%) beat Champloo (25%) by double the votes at the poll. I bet a lot of Samurai Champloo fans will be disappointed to hear this but Champloo ended up with only 25% of the aprox. 3500 total votes that were cast.

Also looks like Samurai Champloo is not doing well in Japan either. Recently it was announced that only 17 episodes of Champloo will air on Fuji TV (cable TV) and the remainder of the series, episodes 18 to 26 will air on BS (Satellite). But On the other hand re-runs of Gungrave still continue to air on local Japanese cable in Japan.
