The
voice actor for Future Trunks in FUNimation's DBZ dub
is Eric Johnson. He also plays the role of the Tenkaichi
Budokai Announcer. Eric is also doing some script
work on the show, for both Dragonball and Dragonball Z.
Eric will also be playing the lead character in FUNi's
new property, "Blue Gender".
Eric Johnson has also been seen in Sherwin Williams commercials.
I finally saw the commercial, and I must say, Eric makes
a cute, helpful handyman boy-type person thing...yeah.
:)
In
the winter of 2001, Eric Johnson decided to change his
stage name to Eric Vale, as someone in the acting union
he wanted to join already had that name (for the record,
the other Eric Johnson has a role in the TV show "Smallville.")
According to the Internet
Movie Database, Eric is also a writer and
producer for a movie coming out in 2001 called "Dark
Matters". (thanks Vejjiechan for this info)
Eric
is 27 years old (meow!), and is from Texas. He recently
finished filming the movie "Hall of Mirrors",
in which he plays the lead character.
Supposedly,
Eric's legal name is Christopher.
