I Love Dragon Ball
Number 2

Mr. Shingo Katori

This is a corner for people who love Dragon Ball. For the second edition we have WO-WO-WOW, he's in dramas, he sings, and he's on variety shows, the incredibly popular and active Shingo Katori will give his thoughts.

Shingo Katori: I read Dragon Ball ever since it began serial publication. At that time I was an Elementary School student who was kind of like Gokou. I lived at a place in the mountains. Of the Dragon Ball characters the one I like the best is probablly Piccolo. Because he's so cool. The members of SMAP that are equal to characters from Dragon Ball would be...

Kimura kun would have to be Vegita wouldn't he.

Nakai kun is Gokou, he's cheerful and has no worries just like him.

I think perhaps Mori kun is Tenshinhan.

Goro chan is Piccolo.

Kusanagi kun is Kuririn or Yajirobe.

I'm probablly Gohan. Elementary School, Middle School and High School, we grew up reading Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball is the manga of our generation!! I was pretty sad when the serial publication ended, but I am thankful to Toriyama Sensei!
