The Three Super Saiya-jin





Original Release Date: July 11th, 1992



The very first scene in this movie is the classic sequence of Dr. Gero being killed by his own creation, No. 17. The android shoves his hand through the doctor's stomach, kicks his head off, and stomps on it. However, as Dr. Gero's blood spreads all over the place, we see an underground laboratory and three tanks, reading 13, 14, and 15. The narrorator says, "Even after his death, Dr. Gero's computer worked tirelessly on creating the most powerful robot ever!" Kamesennin, Oolong, Klylin, and Future Trunks are lined up to see the "Miss Prettiest Girl In The World" contest. Funny thing is, they're all by themselves. (Question: Wouldn't Trunks get arrested for carrying that big sword all over the place?) After a long drag, Kamesennin yawns and says, "Hey Oolong, doesn't this show start soon?" "Funny hearing that from you," Oolong retorts, "since it doesn't start till 7:00 tonight. As I recall, some overly exited old man had the wise idea of lining up early..." "But how else are we going to get good seats?" Kamesennin replies. Then he goes into a dirty daydream of dozens of women in G-string bikinis. This gets Oolong exited as well, and they begin running around in circles, cackling like madmen. Klylin shouts, "YOU TWO! Just stop with your perverted fantasies right now! Trunks is right here, remember?" Trunks gets embarrased and says "Oh no, Klylin-san...please....no trouble..." But Klylin continues, "Just imagine what kind of influence you might have on such an innocent young man!" But Kamesennin reminds Klylin of a remark that Klylin made earlier about taking a tour of the dressing rooms. Klylin's face turns red and he swears that he was only making an ionnocent joke. So Kamesennin and Oolong run off to tour the dressing rooms themselves, with Klylin close behind. "What now?" Trunks wonders. "I wonder if Mr. and Mrs. Gokuu are done shopping yet..." Gokuu, Gohan and Chi-Chi are in the mall, as Chi Chi wrestles a whole pile of other women for some clothes. Then she throws a box on top of a ten-foot stack of boxes that Gokuu is holding. "Next, we'll buy some clothes for you," She tells her husband. "You wear the same clothes all year round, once in a while, I have to dress you up!" But while all this is going on, two androids, #14 and #15, are tearing up the town looking for a man named....Son Gokuu! #14 looks like a big, muscular, white-skinned barbarian. #15 is a short black dude wearing a zoot suit (no kidding), a Red Ribbon bowtie, and a wide-brimmed hat. He has really big lips. He might be the same race as Mr. Popo, but I'm not sure. Anyway, as these two androids continue their search, there's some really cool music playing in the background as they make their way towards the mall that Gokuu and friends are. Gokuu and friends are in a resturant, as Gokuu stuffs his face at turbo speed. The two robots are now inside making their way to the resturant. Kamesennin and the others have finally realized that they lined up a day too early, and are in the resturant as well. The two androids find where Gokuu and the others are eating, and each of them release ki blasts that destroys the entire floor. Gokuu flies out of the wreckage, carrying about 300 people with him. Trunks and Gohan are saving people as well, namely Oolong, Chi chi and Kamesennin. Gokuu spots the two who caused this, and begins to fly far away, to see if they would follow him. "Just as I figured," he thinks. "They're only after me." He faces them and demands to know who they are. #15 pulls out a flask and chugs it. "You guys have all the personality of.....robots!" Then, seeing the Red Ribbon symbol on each of them, he says, "So, you must be Dr. Gero's robots...Very interesting, indeed." Finally, they begin to fight it out, and Gokuu appears to be losing. Trunks jumps in and shouts, "Gokuu! We're only hurting innocent people here! There's a deserted polar region up north.let's fight up there!" "Follow us, if you dare!" Gokuu yells as he blasts off. Trunks follows, with the androids hot on their tails. Gohan sees his dad flying away, and wants to help him, but Chi Chi stops him. She reminds him that his summer school starts tommorow. "Between Dad's life and studying,"Gohan mutters."Just which is more important to you!?!" With that, he flies off, leaving Chi Chi sprawling. Klylin is solemn and says, "For what it's worth..I know how he feels..." But Chi Chi flips out and whacks the midget on the head with her shopping bag. "YOU LAZY DOG! WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE?!? GET GOING! MOVE IT!" She delivers a mighty kick to Klylin's backside and he begins his flight. Trunks, Gokuu, and the two androids have arrived at the Polar region. Trunks growls, "If you touch one hair on Gokuu-san's head, I'll...." #15's computer analyzes Trunks from head to toe. "Tolonks(Trunks)'" he mumbles. Then he flattens the boy with one blow. Gokuu faces off against both androids, but gets pounded, and smashed into the ground. "Not what I would expect from the great Gokuu," a voice from above calls. Gokuu looks up and sees #13, a tall, white-haired android wearing a vest and a "RR" hat. Gokuu is confused. "Just how many androids did Dr. Gero make, anyway?" #13 explains to Gokuu that they were created by Gero's computer. "Gero's hatred against you was so great, it was transformed into pure energy, which transferred into Gero's computer after he died. And we are that final product! Son Gokuu! This computer has analyzed every detail about you! That's why 14 and 15 were able to read your movements so easily!" Trunks objects, "Whoever heard of a computer learning how to hate?!?" #13 regards the boy, "Young fool....killing Gokuu is our only reason for being here...but get in the way, and you can just as easily be disposed of." "You shouldn't take me so lightly," Trunks remarks, with a smirk. "Do you really think you could last one minute against these two?" #13 says, waving his arm at #14 and #15. With that, they both attack Trunks. Gohan is revealed behind a hillside just as Klylin arrives. "Here I come," calls Klylin, as he prepares to jump in and fight. But after seeing Trunks getting attacked, he decides to let him take care of it. Gokuu faces off against #13, and gets pummeled. Finally, after fighting underwater, Gokuu gets blown right out. Trunks is getting a good spanking himself, and is buried beneath a pile of boulders. Gohan wants to help his dad, but Klylin keeps him back, saying, "There's nothing you can do." #13 prepares a powerful attack, the "S.S. Dead Bomb," and pushes it at Gokuu. He tries to stop it with his hands, but he's getting pushed into the wall of a mountain. Suddenly, a powerful Ki blast comes out of nowhere and knocks the Ball aside. At that very moment, Trunks pops up and telepathically hurls rocks at both his opponents. The mountains split open to uncover Gokuu's rescuer...Vegeta!! "Don't get me wrong, Kakaroto," says the Saiya-jin prince. "I'm not here to help you. I have my own reasons for wanting to destroy you, but I'm a Saiya-jin Prince. And I am not going to stand around and let a bunch of overgrown wind-up toys beat me to it!" #13 is amused, and says, "So, Son Gokuu, it looks like you have yet another companion for your journey to the other world...#15, why don't you escort our friend?" #15 takes a few steps forward and sinks into the deep snow. Then his computer analyzes Vegeta and he attacks. The battle resumes, #13 vs. Gokuu, #14 vs. Trunks, and #15 vs. Vegeta. However, the three Saiya-jin begin to lose. Trunks is pinned against a mountain and bashed repeatedly. Gokuu is slammed into the ground. Vegeta sits on his butt as his opponent punches away at him. His face is twisted in pain. But suddenly, he smiles and grabs #15 by the arms. He gets right up in his face and says, "Now it's my turn, you over-sized tin can!" Then he gets to his feet and powers up until he turns into a Super Saiya-jin, blowing 15's hat off. Trunks escapes and goes SSJ as well. Finally Gokuu jumps out of the hole he is stuck in, knocks #13 back, and turns into a Super Saiya-jin. Klylin is ecstatic. "Three Super Saiya-jin! he cries. "Now we got 'em!" Gero's lab computer is going nuts. Trunks leaps foward opens a can of whoop-ass on #14. #15 chugs his flask again, and smiles. Then Vegeta pulverizes him. As for Gokuu, neither side has an advantage. They both are fighting evenly. Back to Vegeta, He and his opponent charge at each other at full speed and..CLASH! After they collide, Vegeta is no longer in SSJ, and he collapses. But #15 is still standing, and he laughs."HA HA HA HA..HA HA HA HA..ha....ha..." His head falls off and he explodes. Trunks and #14 are flying at each other head-on. A flash of bright light goes off, and both fighters land on the ground. Trunks has his back turned as #14 goes in for the kill, but suddenly the android's top half goes flying and he....let's just say he went boom. Trunks sheathes his sword. Gokuu, meanwhile, is having trouble with his opponent. Gohan uses Masenkou to blast the robot in the back. #13 turns around and shoots a powerful blast at the boy, causing Gokuu to freak. Suddenly, an equally powerful blast comes from the ground and knocks the other one away. Gohan immedeately knows who saved him...Piccolo! The Nameck-jin pops out of the ground and grabs #13 by the feet. "Greetings, Son," he greets Gokuu, as his theme song is heard."PICCOLO!" Klylin cheers. The Nameck-jin swings #13 around and tosses him at the ground, but the android regains control before he hits. "How can I thank you..." says Gokuu as he powers down. "Not so fast. This fight isn't over yet," Piccolo replies. "You bet it isn't!" The former mortal enemies turn to see #13. "So, you're Piccolo. I see you insist on interfering with my battle against Son Gokuu, but I can take care of you just as easily while I'm at it." "While you're at it?" Piccolo retorts. "I'm going to turn you into a pile of nuts and bolts!" At that very moment, Trunks and Vegeta pop up. "And then there was one.." Vegeta remarks snidely. "#14 and #15, both beaten?!" says the android incredulously. Then he smiles. Gokuu and friends look on, confused, as certain parts from the dead androids begin to levitate and implant themselves into #13. The android laughs loudly as he begins to transform. When he's done, he looks like a large, blue, REALLY muscular monster with red spikey hair. His power is HUGE. Vegeta goes SSJ and rushes at the enemy, calling out, "Kakaroto! Piccolo! Don't you dare interfere! This one is mine!" He futilely punches #13 up until his hands are sore. The android grabs him by the shoulders and smashes him into the ground, then slams him into Klylin. Trunks tries to protect his father, but gets blown away. Then Piccolo takes a whack at it (literally). He repeatedly punches and kicks the android(screaming his famous "EEYADADADADADADA!!!!"). But he's flattened with one blast, and #13 isn't even affected. Now it's Gokuu's turn. His attempts to beat up this monster is just as futile. Finally, #13 grabs Gokuu by the head and smashes his fist into Gokuu's crotch(I wince every time I see this). He then goes into a LONG period of beating the crud out of Gokuu. After thoroughly maming our hero, he blows him away until he goes crashing into the water. Before Gokuu can be finished off, Klylin interferes with a blast that the monster barely even felt. As Klylin is maimed, Gokuu is shown underwater,beginning to form a Genki Dama. #13 makes his way towards Gohan, who cowers.(well, wouldn't you?)Suddenly, Gokuu surfaces, and Gohan draws attention to him. The android shoots a Ki blast at Gokuu, but Gohan jumps in the way, and gets mauled by it. (This next sequence is probably my favorite one!) Before #13 can do anything else, a blast from Vegeta just barely misses him. "Kakaroto is mine...I can't let you interfere!" With that, Vegeta futiley attacks. #13 grabs the prince and bends his arms behind his back. Then he bends him backwards over his knee. Trunks comes to, and shoots #13 from behind, causing him to drop Vegeta. "You!" Trunks shouts. "From 20 years in the future I came! I am Trunks! And I tell you, the people of the future will never know of you...because Gokuu destroys you, right here, right now!" The boy goes SSJ, draws his sword, and charges straight at the android. After breaking his sword in half on #13's arm, Trunks gets blown away once again. Finally, #13 notices the giant ball Gokuu is forming, and prepares an "SS Dead Bomb." Just as he is about to release it, Piccolo rushes up(if you blink, you'll miss it), grabs #13 from behind, and attempts to back-drop him. The Dead Bomb goes flying into space, but #13 is pissed and he pummels Piccolo. "SON!" Piccolo shouts. "SHOW HIM WHAT A SUPER SAIYA-JIN IS MADE OF!"(Isn't it cool the way Piccolo always calls Gokuu "Son"?) #13 whirls around. Too late. The Genki Dama is completed. Instead of throwing it, however, Gokuu absorbs ALL of its energy into his own body as he turns into a Super Saiya-jin. Klylin notices this and freaks. "Gokuu-san...you can't make a Genki Dama as a Super Saiya-jin....not if your heart is filled with hatred!" Gokuu is completely buffed out, a large ball of energy surrounding him. He's crushing everything in his path! #13 tries to attack him, to no avail. "SON GOKUU!!!"he screams as Gokuu punches a hole in his stomach. Then the android is destroyed in a bright flash of oblivion. Gero's lab computer shuts down. After the fight is over, most of the fighters are recovering in the hospital. Klylin tells everyone about how he saw Gokuu absorb the Dama into himself as he turned into a Super saiya-jin.(note: Gohan and Klylin are in beds, while Trunks and Gokuu only have a few bandages on their bodies. slight plot hole.) Gohan wonders what happened to Vegeta and Piccolo after the fight. "Knowing them, I'm sure they're just fine!" Gokuu assures his son. Meanwhile, somewhere out in the sea, Vegeta and Piccolo are meditating together, sitting back-to-back on a rock.
