Episodes 65-67

Episode 65

In the Japanese version of this episode, Gohan was just brutalized. There were several shots I couldn't get, (but would have liked to), because the characters were moving around quickly, and the picture would always come out blurry. Oh, by the way, in American DBZ Kuririn neglects to mention that Reekuumu's kick broke Gohan's neck.

I put that second shot of Freeza in because I wanted you to know that he doesn't say anything about caressing any balls in the real version.

Also, when Gokou lands on Nameck at the end of the episode, there's no robotic voice on the ship saying stupid things. It's a very intense moment, and American DBZ just shatters it to pieces.

Episode 66

Okay, first and foremost, Vegita's little speech about the first Super Saiya-jin is BULL!!!!!! If you listened to what he said, just delete it from your memory banks! The first Super Saiya-jin did NOT destroy himself! In fact, that entire scene with the SSJ doesn't even any have backround speech by Vegita! And the last SSJ was NOT around 3,000 years ago! In the Japanese anime, Vegita says the odds of being a SSJ are one in a thousand. In the Japanese manga, Vegita says that a SSJ is born once every 1,000 years. I don't know how FUNimation's writers came up with 3,000. Anyway, that's that. The last group of pictures is an analysis Vegita did of Gokou's punch to Rekuumu. He sees that the punch itself wasn't very powerful, but upon connecting with Reekuumu, it released an enourmous amount of power.

Episode 67

Sigh....This is going to take a while to explain. Okay, you know that scene where Ginyu is teaching Freeza's men poses? Well that actually happens much later, after Reekuumu is disabled. The first thing about it is, IT'S NOT A TRY OUT! Ginyu is trying to come up with new poses for his team members, so he uses Freeza's men as guinnea pigs. After the first pose, he does NOT say anything about the henchman being a captian. He just punches him away because he doesn't like the way he posed. Second, he does NOT tell the men to run for their lives. If he did, then why did they start running directly towards him? What really happened was, he says, "Well if you really want to touch the Dragon Balls, go ahead and try it! The first person who does will get two pieces of caramel.". Then the men try to touch the Dragon Balls hovering over him, but he obviously beats them all. PHEW!

Since only about 5 minutes worth of footage from this episode is in episode 53 of American DBZ, I can't find any other cuts or edits. What does that mean? THIS SECTION OF MY SITE IS FINISHED!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! I hope you enjoyed this section! If you've read through everything, and looked at every picture, then there should no longer be ANYTHING you're missing. :)
