Here are two pieces of artwork I created in Art 3. The left is a cubism in charcoal of tulips, as that was for our Mid-term and had to be completed in 45 minutes, I'm not thrilled with it, but it's okay. On the right is something I'm really proud of and this shot doesn't do it justice. It's a painting divided into sections with similar themes throughout. In a cloudy region is a fading image of Son Wukong. In the center is a Chinese mountain-scape, notice the little dude walking acros the bridge at the bottom. To the left of that are two scrolls with various kanji I let students from the class pick out for me to do. In the upper left and lower right are anime-ized pictures of my face. The upper left is sealed off by a curved red pattern, (barely visible), while the bottom right is sealed off by a dimensional sun pattern. The upper right is my eye, sealed off by a blue, purple and silver stroke. And the bottom left, (my favorite part), is a collage of Japanese pop-culture. Included are some Ghost in the Shell items, the Dreamcast logo, eyes from Rinoa, Heihachi's eye and a Japanese teen wielding a light-gun. I really liked this piece! As if you couldn't tell :)
