Akira Visuals: 4.5 Music: 4.0 Story: 5.0 Enjoyability: 4.5 Wow good anime overall, I wasn't sure what to expect at first but now I know. The anime takes place in a not so bright future where apparently some tradgedy has fallen upon mankind. This movie is definetly one of the most popular anime movies in America, in fact the only more popular anime movies I can think of are Ghost in Shell, and Princess Mononoke. Anyways this anime can be a little confusing at times but it has a pretty fast pace as you cruise through it to the climitac battle at the end. The way the world is presented, i.e. the technology, and the way people act, gives you that erie feeling that makes you wonder if the world may end up like that. The movie is definately worth watching, owning im not so sure about but its a definate rental. -Tarconis |
