- The Great One is Here...
•George Lucas has now made a separate company that is called "LucasFilm Animation", so he can now compete with Bay Area powerhouses PDI/DreamWorks and Pixar. This is a what they said "For several years we've been hearing that the people at LucasFilm were really eager to prove themselves in character animation," Koch said. "They were going to do 'Frankenstein,' and then they were going to do 'Curious George.' "....So in other words these are the people who are going to make the 3D animation stuff for the DBZ life action movie..well actualy that is just a theory....[Source]www.saiyanz-rage.net ... i found this in the Dragonball z official website "Dragon Ball celebrates 200 weeks in a row on the Lycos Top 100! Dragon Ball has consistently been in the top 10 of the list since the chart’s existence. Thank you to you, the fans that continue to strive to learn more and more about Dragon Ball. Thank You,FUNimation Productions LTD"...so i guess DBZ is still one of the best out there....

- Game News/Saiyan Lengend...
•Ok first off, the company responsible for Budokai 2's developement, Dimps, has been tossed. A new company, CyberCircuit 2, has taken control of the game's progress (Thanks to dbzonps2.com for that tid bit of info). Hopefully this will mean more enhancements. Next, Legacy of Goku 2 hit the market yesterday. Atari, the game's producer, is expecting huge proftis from the game's sales.

Next...
I dunno if this is old news or not, so please forgive me if it is. Well, most of us have moved on into the world of GT, and frequently visit dragonballgt.com instead of the old Z site. Well, you'd be surprised at the differences that there are between the two sites now. Including dragonballz.com's section devoted to movie 8. Here's a quote from the main page of the new Broly section:
"Legend tells of a super-being with enough power to rip entire galaxies to shreds. For many years the rumors of the being's existence was the stuff of nightmares. Anyone this powerful must be just that...a legend."
Aside from this, you'll find some cool sections like "Saiyan Folklore", music, interviews, contests, and a page to preorder the movie! O, and one last thing...a trailer! That's right, get your first glimpse of the latest feature - Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan. Ya know, I gotta say, this is my favorite DBZ movie, and I've been waiting for this one for a long time. I hope FUNi dosen't blow it lol.

Quote of the Day: "And I vowed that I would follow in his footsteps. I would make my own ascension, so that one day I might face my father as his equal. And he would know...that I am his son." - Trunks, DBZ

- I'm Back!/New Z-Store Catalog
•As the title explains, I've returned from my very long "vacation." So, I'll get back to posting some news around here and try to liven things up lol. I know alot of you guys are wondering why updates have been slow lately, and I'm assuming it's due to the fact that summer has just begun for most of us and we're out enjoying it. But things should return to normal soon. I've been done school for a month lol, so I'm done partying for awhile. Now let's get to some news...

The Z-Store has just released its summer '03 catalog, filled with all kinds of great stuff. After checking it out, I saw some great deals on the "last chance" page. If you're still living in a cave watching VHS tapes, you're in luck. You'll find videos priced more than reasonably, at $5.95 each.

Ok peoples, that's about it for me today. I'm working 2 jobs, so I don't have much free time, but I'll try to get some gaming news up soon.

- I was like YO! and he was like WO!
•I find this quite funny, I was reading the news in www.dbzsc.com and this is what they what they posted in their news ((For those who have been collecting the 4 million zeni coupons to collect the excluse Dragonball GT t-shirt, do not be upset if you do not find the coupons in the latest releases. FUNimation ran out of coupons, but has devised a plan of compensation so you can still get the t-shirt. For full details and a picture of the shirt check out this article at DragonballGT.com)). A big company that has millions of bucks and they ran out of zeni.. Weird.... Well in other news, www.dbzsc.com has also posted that Atari has announced about the new game called Dragonball Z Taiketsu. It is being develop by WebfootTechnologies, they are the same makers for the game “Legacy of Goku 1 and 2”. The game is a 2 player game so you can challenge your skills with other friends that has the same game. To read more info of the game visit at http://www.gamers.com/news/1399198 ....

AnImE nEwS:

In Anime News Network, has posted that “4 Kids” plans to show Japanese Anime and other Cartoons shows on the GBA cartridges. The GBA cartridges will coast about $20 and contains 2 episodes each. You don’t need adapters or anything you just slide in the cartage like a normal game but this time it is not a game you do use the buttons but you use them to fast forward, rewind, play and stop. One of the titles that are going to be able to watch in the GBA-TV thing is (Pocket monsters “Pokemon”, Yu Gi Oh, Kirby; right back at ya)… In Toonami, if any one notice the Kyoto Era started to be shown, it has been said that is the best season and the fight scene are a lot better (((personally I’ve seen 2 episode already of the Kyoto Era and I love them, the fight scene are getting a lot better and it’s getting more dramatic))) the show is on at 6:30pm eastern time (((sorry don’t know the other times)).... In animation Insider they have posted that Blue Gender will be showing up in Cartoonnetwork. It will be on August 25 on Adult Swim, there is no news how much the show will be edited but I think it wouldn’t be that much because on the time they are going to show it and adult swim is know for there style that they don’t edit much of the anime so who knows....

Well that all for now....LATZ..............

- Do you want a cookie?
•Sorry for the lacks, i've been playin GTA3 for the past 2 weeks ((boy that game is hard and crazy too)). So i've been busy.........Well getting back to work, i've been trying to find news but there aren't any out there about DBZ. The only thing I seen is that DBZ Budokai 2 for PlayStation 2 is coming out in December 2003 and Legacy of Goku is coming out next month. There is a new game for GBA and it's called DragonBall Z Taiketsu, I don't know much about it but I bet that it is another RPG game.....Now i got an E-mail by a person called DevilMann2003, the e-mail had a web address, so I visited it and it is about the Life Action movie of DBZ it's intersting and they prove some stuff that are rumored to be fake...((like the actors, Jet li is not going to play in the movie!!))......anyways, the site may be telling the truth or not but lets just keep our hopes up for the movie at least....here is the link for it http://members.fortunecity.com/dbzmovie/ ...........

AnImE nEwS:
Well I don't have to go to much into detail about this but, pioneer's license of the first 3 movies and early TV episodes of DBZ will expire this summer, so now Funi will have the rights to redo the episode that Pioneer dub and show the ones that Pioneer didn't show in America ((I think it's like 15 episodes that pioneer didn't dub into english))......In animation insider posted something that EVA fans would like or hate... (((ADV Films confirmed rumors today that a live-action version of the popular anime series, Neon Genesis Evangelion, was in development. The announcement was made by ADV Films President and CEO John Ledford, who announced that the project will be a collaboration between ADV Films, Gainax and Weta Workshop, Ltd.)))....here is another thing that animation insider posted, i think this is very intersting....(((ADV Films confirmed that their release of Voices of a Distant Star will screen at A-kon, this weekend (May 30th - June 1st). Here's how the company describes the new film: Voices of a Distant Star was created single-handedly by the young Japanese animator Makoto Shinkai, using only a Macintosh G4/400 computer and assorted consumer- and professional-level design and animation programs. It is an extraordinarily beautiful film, telling in deft strokes a tale of two lovers torn apart by tides of war and millions of miles of interstellar space. Only the music (composed by Tenmon) and voice acting were not performed by Shinkai.Voices of a Distant Star is on sale for the suggested price of $19.98. This DVD-only includes both English and Japanese language tracks and English subtitles.)))..wow, one person did the whole thing animated it, color it, directed it and edited it
...........well That's all for now..........LATZ....o_O

- Background updates...
•Been updating a bit of the behind the scenes coding to try and fix a few loose ends. Yes, there were some login problems which are now fixed. The MMORPG has grown quite a bit since its initial opening and will, within a few weeks, re-open again. Just need a couple more little updates to go.
