Turorials: Web: Using IFrames
IFrame is basically like a regular frame but this one can be placed anywhere.
The first step
Copy and paste the code into your website.
The second step
Edit the prefrences to make it fit your page. It is a good idea to put the iframe into a table.
The third step
To get links to open in an iframe you need to put a target tag in a link tag or else the page will open in it's own window.
Some notes:
Iframes are very useful if your host does not support SSI. Some sites need to use iframes because they have so many pages and they would have to update each table of contents on each page every time they wanted to add something. Well iframes will compact into an area using a scrollbar and can let you stay on one page throughout your visit!
