How To Play

If you've only just come here, then I'm sure that this is going to be one of the first pages that you'll check out, and rightly so. Every RPG needs a good playing method, and without one they are all worthless. I have attempted to make this game slightly complex to avoid it getting boring fast, but not so complicated you need to spend hours working out how to do attacks, etc.

First of all you need to pick a character - This may be a made up one, or an existing DBZ one, it's entirely up to you although being creative would be far better. Secondly you must pick the specified number of attacks from the given options which are located on the joining form, thus giving you a basic battling character. I cannot make you write a biography for your player, but it would preferred if you could, even if it's only a short paragraph. You must also complete ALL of the requirements on the joining form, otherwise you will not be allowed admission.

Ok, so after all this is done, and you've submitted your form, you'll probably have to wait up to 24 hours before I reply, it shouldn't be any more. If I agree to letting you in, then you may start by training, or participating in a quest. I will explain the quests a little later on, but for now I will cover the basic explanation of training.

To train you must go over to the isolated board, and write a roleplay. This roleplay is about your character's training, and should preferably be fairly detailed with lots of good innovative ideas and perhaps some proven methods of increasing power, in order to gain a higher power increase. You may want to do a few of these before you request a power level increase, as you can have some sort of continuous story, and it would be easier for me to judge a series of them as oppose to a singular one. A small note is that you're not allowed to use, or kill any of the players in these without explicit permission, but you may fight NPC's (Non Player Characters).

The final rule of training is that you may not use any trainers unless that have accepted you, and feel your worthy. To prove your worth to them you may have to perform a small or large task, varying depending on the quality of the trainer. All trainers will be controlled by me, so you can be assured to get the biggest increase possible from them.

Ok, so you've written your training, and applied for a power increase, what next? Well you could either continue to train in order to achieve perfect power, or you could test out your strength in a fight, aiming to improve even further. The more imaginative, and full of quality your fight is, the higher your power increase shall be from it.

I bet you're wondering how to participate correctly in one of these fights, and I don't blame you. Knowing how to compete in battles in essential in any online RPG, and this is no exception. In order to fight you must roleplay, rather like in the training, but with the difference in this that the aim is to attack and inflict damage upon your opponent. you must write your plan of attack, but give them a chance to dodge or counter it, otherwise it'd make the game less productive. An example of this is: "Korosu swings a wild punch directed straight towards the exposed wound on Goku's face". Notice the way I didn't say it hit, as that wouldn't be fair. Obviously no one is allowed to block, dodge and counter every single attack, and I can only ask that you don't as it will make the game terribly boring, and result in you being kicked out. Occasionally you may write attacks where you do actually hit, but you can't say that you've killed the opposition, as that wouldn't be fair.

There is a limit to what you can give and what you can survive, and I will be closely monitoring all fights looking out for cheaters who will be exposed, then warned. If they continue to break the rules, they will be booted from the game. When in your fights, you must submit a maximum of one post for your turn, no more as that would give you an unfair advantage. Fighting is done on the fighting board.

This is the basic explanation, which will be enough to get you started, but not enough to utilize and enjoy this game to its full extent. If you wish to find out about items, quests, Dragonballs, and trainers, then click the link below.
