Dragonball: Enemy Objectives Guide

One might think that Dragonball z/gt is just another dumb kids show where people just fight each other for no reason. Actually, there is an entire story behind every fight, and each enemy is after something else. This section explains the purpose behind each villain's attack, and who stopped him.

Oolong
To kidnap young girls from small villages by driving fear into the villagers' hearts.
(Stopped by: Goku)

Yamcha
To rob Goku, Bulma, and Oolong of their capsules and possessions, specifically the dragonballs.

Ox King
To "protect" his land around the mountain of fire.
(Goku)

Boss Rabbit
To continue their rule over a village.
(Goku)

Emperor Pilaf throughout the series
To gather the Dragonballs and wish for world domination.
(Combined efforts of Goku, Yamcha, Puar and Bulma, but in the end Oolong stopped the wish. Other times, Goku stopped him by himself)

Red Ribbon Army
Well, the entire army thought they were trying to gather the dragonballs and wish for world domination, but in truth all Commander Red wanted from the dragon was extra height.

Uranai Baba & Fighters
To prevent Goku and friends from using Baba's magical abilities to find the last dragonball.
(Puar, Upa, Yamcha, and Goku)

Tenshinhan, Chaotzu, and Crane Hermit
First to prove that the Crane school is superior to the Turtle school, then to exact revenge on Goku for killing Tao Pie Pie.

Piccolo Damiaoh
To gather the dragonballs to wish for eternal youth, and then to conquer the world.

To defeat Goku and conquer the world.

Raditz
To force Goku to conquer Earth, and make him join the planet trade organization that the Saiyans are a part of.
(Goku and Piccolo)

Nappa & Vegeta (and Saibamen)
To kill the traitor Kakkarot, to gather the dragonballs and wish for immortality, and to conquer Earth and sell it for profit.
(Goku, Gohan, Krillen, Piccolo and Yajirobe)

Kiwi, Dodoria, and Zarbon
To kill Vegeta and the Earthlings, and help Freeza gather the dragonballs.

Vegeta on Namek
To steal Freeza's dragonballs and wish for immortality, and finally defeat Freeza for destroying his planet and people. He also wouldn't feel to bad about killing the Earthlings who humiliated him earlier.
(He ended up teaming up with the Earthlings, but was killed by Freeza)

Ginyu Force
To re-gather all 7 of the dragonballs for Freeza and kill Vegeta and the Earthlings, the ones who stole them.

Freeza
To gather all the dragonballs and wish for immortality, and to kill Vegeta and the Earthlings, and any Saiyan that might be left…

Garlic Jr.
To exact revenge on Goku and Gohan for stopping him earlier, and to become Kami of Earth.

Robot Freeza & King Cold
Freeza - To exact revenge on Kakkarot for almost killing him and to destroy Earth. His father was just along for the ride.

To kill Goku and all of his friends.

To simply destroy, and to kill Goku

Androids 17, 18
To simply destroy, and to kill Goku
(Cell)

Android 16
Sole purpose is to kill Goku.
(Cell, after 16 became good)

Cell
First to absorb Androids 17 & 18, then to destroy Earth and later the universe, and to have as much fun as possible in the process.

Spopovitch, Yamu, Pui Pui, Yakon, and Dabura
Slaves of Babidi with no free will, they had to gather energy for Majin Buu's reawakening.

To reawaken his father's creation, Majin Buu, and use him to control the universe.

To completely destroy the entire universe. And eat candy (lol).

To capture Goku, Pan, and Trunks so that Dr. Myuu can use them for experiments.

To awaken "his" creation Bebi after gathering energy from various races of fighters, specifically the Saiyans.

Bebi
To create a new Tsfuru-jin planet, restore their people, and exact revenge on the Saiyans.

Super Android 17
To become complete by having the two Android 17's join to form him, then to kill Goku and all of his friends, and simply destroy.

Their high amounts of negative energy forced them to want to destroy.
